Known Bugs:
No Dreads
No Particle Effects on Blades.
The M3 Export & Import Tools does not support Particles Yet.
We Are waiting for a new M3 Tool Update that supports Particles.
Thats the REASON why the Dreads & Blade Effect is not working.
Can be but i dont think thats awesome chick with man legs. better make brand new legs on it. But what is the use of a high poly model for sc2? second person shooter ?
A low poly model might be easy todo but also takes time. but less than the fully high poly model.
I dont thing high poly isnt work modelling it will probally included in the new Expansion
These are Nova animations. BUT i have good news. BLIZZARD Did the character rigging very very BAD BAD.
I tested normal nova ingame and she had same problems i got.
Ill release this kerrigan when its done. still got few issues and stuff to add
Well the guy that made the community tools might be hard working on university atm but blizzard might release a complete tool + guide to NOT 100% sure but they did it for Warcraft3 to
Of course its possible. In fact you need to know how 3ds Max / Blender and Photoshop works.
The model is done in 3ds and texture in Photoshop. I do not know what your background is but it takes months years to learn these programs to create fitting stuff
Note: If you edit the models, like removing backgrounds or just do nothing all particle effects will be lost.
There is NO particle effect support on the M3 Exporter or Importer
Hehe Hey Smurf :D Chrizz here, Good to see you in SC2 Modding to, Sadly we still have very bugged editors and no modelling, particle, etc etc tools.
Just the Community M3 Tools
We played this yesterday its very funny and cool 1 Problem is the damn damn outstanding FPS drops. Seems there is something wrong with the triggers.
But overall we loved it.
Id like to see more of these games but with hero characters not just units. Just the hero's
If you have the path zerg/kerrigan/ you need create these folders in your windows / mac os. put the textures/models in the folder.
zerg/kerrigan/ wich means he reads the textures from that folder in the editor.
When you import the complete folder he automaticly creates a folder tree with the textures in the right place

@Underp4ntz: Particles are like effects, correct? The only place where that would be a real problem is the WarpPrism.
Yes like the heat effects, thunder/lightning smoke zerg drool, protos dreads' "hair" etc

The host putted the game on Fastest, And we had around 1 fps all players. and some crashed while loading.
When we were at 50% of the map the fps went back to 60. cpu is running on 80% its bit high so seems a script issue.
