You mean the Character General Warfield? If so, He probally alreay ingame if you make new map and select Liberty Campaign you get all units like jim raynor tychus etc etc
For Icons & Textures TGA Files works perfect. Just Save your Texture as TGA select 32bits/pixel
Plus while you use TGA Files its more user friendly for crossplatform OS's like Mac OSX, Windows, Linux. Because nVidia DDS Tools = Windows only.
For Icon's, Static Portraits Exporting I recommen TGA or DDS 8.8.8.8 ARGB 32 bpp | unsigned
Note that Starcraft 2 Editor will convert the textures to the right DDS files after.
Well I used Nova's unit information but when cloacked (for the player) model become fully red or what color you took.When you see the enemy you get the blurry effect. But if you play it by yourself its fully red, teal or green etc.
Edit: I See they use particle Effects for the Ghost "Form" because no model was imported at all. I think i need do some research
Update from the model, Iam now working on the Icons and slowly a model / texture improvements.
Its nearly Done But it seems the Cloaking mode of Ghosts are Materials "Maybe particle" to. so it wont work :(

1.8 is removed because it has big ass bug in it. wich not exports animations. So dont use 1.8
I use 1.7 at the moment and works good
When you rotate a model wich is rigged with animations n stuff it snap back to the rigged/animations position
