Star Wars Models
Overview
In this Asset are the Models i converted/edited and animated to use them in SC2. Im not experienced with 3D modelling and animating or texturing, so the animation quality probably isnt very good. Most models i originally found onSci-Fi 3D and on Clara.io. I edited them with 3DS Max 2011 and the official Blizzard Art Tools. For the Icons i used the GIMP
All Models have the some basic animations (Attack/Move, etc.), some also have some additional ones (The Clone on the Walker for example has a Cliff Jump Animation). They all have attachment points and hit Tests, so they should work well in SC2. To use the Models in the Editor, just add my depency Mod "StarWarsModels", which is public on the EU and America Server. This one should always contain the actual Version of all the Models. For a data use reference see my Map "Galaxy at War"
Other Star Wars Models i found:
- A Snow Speeder Model by tFighterPilot
- A Clone Trooper Modelby ZombieZasz
- A X-Wingby Supernova134
- A Tie Fighter (Swift Fighter) and Lord Tyranus from Alleyviper85 and Supernova134
- A Venator Class Star Destroyerfrom Fingoflin in WC3, converted by GPS2
Hey, so, i know that i am necroposting, but do you still have that clone Model ?
The creator has deleted it a while ago, sadly.
Stormtrooper Please.
I also happened to convert a very old X-wing model by "Domokun" from the Hive Workshop. See how I did here and compare X-wings. Remember to credit "Domokun", even if he's been long gone...
@rearthhax: Go
Ohh I see, attach model to a unit point(s).
I was hoping it was an actual model.
It would be very cool if it was.
Nice to hear that you like my Models. The one you circled is one of the Units i created at the beginning with the Data Editor. It's actually just a Nova Blade attached to the Adept. If you want to see how its attached, look in the Data Editor at my map "Galaxy at War". Sorry that i didnt stated this clearly, only the Units that are shown in a picture on their own are actual m3 files i created, the others are from other Authors, and the Unit you circled is only done in the Data Editor with Site Ops.
I can't find the models I've circled on my previous post.
Is it in max files?
