You might be able to convert models from Star Wars: EAW using this addon. There's a Blender addon for .m3 files too. If you also have EAW, go for it. I haven't even tried it myself yet, so I'd like to see how it turns out. :)
The latest announcement by Blizzard for Heroes of the Storm is an epic disappointment. If Blizzard won't work on any more content for this game, then maybe we, as a community, should continue supporting it. I'm thinking of a third-party "Battleground Editor", inspired by this other tool made for Warcraft 3. Could such be developed? It would surely save Heroes of the Storm.
Next, I want to learn how to configure a .m3 physics mesh/vertex group. For example, a character's hair, cape, or other hanging accessory. I successfully followed along with this tutorial, now how to make an .m3 version?
Hey, I'm trying to preview a couple of HotS models, but it's not playing the models' animations. They're just statues, even after saving and restarting the SC2 map editor.
How do I display a scrolling effect like this in the SC2 map editor? Looks like I followed instructions correctly in Blender using "AnimAll", but it doesn't scroll when I import it into Starcraft 2.

Also, if a model has several textures, you'll have to "Separate By Selection" accordingly. Pretty much one mesh per texture. For characters, they may often include hair, cape, and other accessories.
As I announced earlier, Jeromnimo restored enough of the WoWMV, recently updating the FBX exporter so that it could export multiple animations at a time. Here is what to do in Blender upon importing the .fbx model and its animations. Let's see some Warcraft-themed ideas again! :)
Jeromnimo FINALLY (Fucken Finally) restored enough of the WoWMV, recently updating the FBX exporter for functionable models. It is then a bit of a process to bring it into SC2, however...
Two months later and still no step-by-step guide nor a video tutorial...? This would be another solution in case Jeromnimo doesn't restore WoWMV's M3 exporter.

Since Blizzard increased the maximum map size limit to 480×480 for Warcraft 3, do they plan to do the same for Starcraft 2 in a future patch?

Alright thanks, it worked out well with my scrolling highway(s). :)

I may be late, but did you "delete" the scope piece? 'cause I could do that by deleting faces.

Someone ought to make newer, more modernized add-ons...

You're experiencing those issues too?
