Sorry I haven't touched my computer in a while I had to fly across the country to visit my ill grandfather. A lot of my project stuff fell behind so I've got to put off updating my older models for now :(

Nevermind everyone i figured it out
Unfortunatly i was unable to succeed in creating the unit, i am currently trying to import the Scorpalisk into the map but i am unclear of exactly how to get the full model textures and all onto a unit, i an however able to get a sort of broken model to apear because all that will show is the shell of the model without some textures such as the sides or the face of the model so if you could please tell me what im doing wrong or give me a simple step by step of how to do it i would be extremly greatful. Thanks in advance, TheSwarmKing
P.S. im sorry for having to ask for a step by step instruction for how to do something which is probably easier then im making it out to be

I'm not sure if those models have any particular setting you must do (haven't used those) but I believe GhostNova91 makes his models ready for import.
Just be sure to import everything to the right folders I think it goes like this, someone correct me if I'm wrong:
models (.m3 files) Assets/Units/UnitRace/UnitName/
textures Assets/Textures/
Save, close and reopen map (or restart editor) and it should work fine.
Hello Ghostnova, I am new to the map editing world and I was trying to add some of your custom units ( Bone Wasp, Scorpalisk, ad Scantalisk) onto my map but I seem to be having some difficulties with the textures. the map will show the model but I am unsure how to add the texture assets onto the model itself so it would be very helpful if you could give me some help on how to add those textures into the model, please respond.

This Umojan Marine?
Did you import them to their proper place?
9 out of 10 the bright glowing white buggy color happen because misplace the dds and m3.
FYI the dds goes to Assets/Textures/ , the m3 goes to default.
Hey im lovin your Umojan marine but I import it into the game, reload my map and its just stuck a bright glowing white buggy colour.
What am I doing wrong?
Very nice Umojan models! I hope sometime in the future you'll consider some Kel-Morian units as well.
I'm not sure if you take requests... But if you do... PLEASE!!! I could really use your umojan marine but with the raynor commando weapon and also with tychus chaingun. To make a sniper and a machine gunner...
Currently I'm using the normal marines models with these weapons found here on mapster but it looks awkward for a campaign to have those mixed armors..
I attached an image of the three marine variants, I'd like to have those three in umojan version.
If you're not taking requests, sorry, maybe somewhen in the future you get a chance...

Don't mean to nag or anything, but Is it possible to make weapon particle and fx of the zerg buster to cover the claws, I notice the particle and fx only cover half of the claws.

Heh, I figured it was something with the old scripts. Sorry to be the bearer of buggy news ^_^
Concerning the red when cloaked, I don't know if it's the case here but I was making a custom Ghost at one point it bugged in a similar fashion (it looked 'flat') when cloaked and it seemingly had something to do with the Specular Channel... I never figured out precisely what as I reloaded material settings from the base model but if I had to guess it might be something to do with the blend modes for the Specular channels. It's a starting point I guess :)

I think I'll just have to remake a lot of this stuff one day with the newer scripts. Right now I'm crazy busy so you guys are going to have to be more patient with me than Blizzard :)
Also here are the zerg buster and female zealot redone with particle emitters this time. Still no fix on the red when cloaked because I have no idea what's causing it but I'll find out eventually.

I think the main issue with transplanting particles and animated textures (such as is used for Zeratul's Warp Blade) is because they have their own keyframes in their original model so you'd have to figure those out and re-arrange them to match the destination model's animations.
Oh also got a bug report: On your BW Firebat the Decal doesn't seem to change properly and stays as the default Terran Decal.
