Custom Campaign Initiative
The Custom Campaign Initiative (CCI) is a centralization of authors and projects that are intended to mimic the Blizzard single-player campaign format.
List of Custom Campaigns (With descriptions)
List of Custom Campaigns (Based on project status)
Check other pages of the CCI for tutorials and other stuff.
What level of quality is required for listed projects?
1) Mission can be played by using Starcraft II editor. Because this is Starcraft II editor community.
2) Map and Mod files are available for download. Because we want to learn from other campaign projects.
3) A series of at least two missions. Because one mission is not campaign.
4) Missions are playable as single player. Because campaign scene is designed for single player.
5) These two missions do not need to be up to date, polished and perfect, but playable with no show stoppers. Because we dont want to waste our time on very bad quality stuff.
CCI authors will check these requirements before listing projects but CCI authors do not frequently check projects after listing.
How does the Custom Campaign Initiative work?
The CCI is a bunch of people who work on their own projects but want to list their work under one project.
By listing all projects together each invidual project gains more downloads and whole Starcraft II campaign scene gets more attention.
The CCI works like Wikipedia. All authors are allowed to edit pages. This project is linking page so files are not allowed directly on CCI.
How do I join the Custom Campaign Initiative?
If you are interested in becoming a part of the CCI send PM to Terhonator or other authors of this project.

That actually a great Idea. Yeah I'd probably do that.
Updating mission 01 - 03.
Do some terrain polishing or even redo the whole map from scratch.
A friendly advice for all campaign mapmakers:
Dont forget to update your first mission! I have noticed that in many campaigns later missions are better quality than the first one. We map mapmakers usually start our project and first mission is what we have created with least experience. Plan order of missions carefully. Dont place a mission that requires deep knowledge of campaign mechanics to first one. At some point it may be good idea to move original first mission to later position and recreate first mission.

I give you my blessing my son. Go forth.
I think I may make a "5 Must Play User Made Campaigns" video. I've held off on something like this for awhile now because I didn't/still don't want to give any impression that I've ranked these in a way that could be discouraging to creators.
With the big co-op hype now, this is a good time to try to draw in some folks with clickbait titles like that, haha.
I feel like we should do a compilation of everyone who made timelap videos of them terraining.
Sup, Lucid asked for a camera oriented tutorial, kind of, so I did one. I don't know how good it is or what should be less expanded and what should be more expanded, but I think it's overall fine.

Thanks! ill update the step by step instructions wiith it
Here's the Mac installation tutorial:
Lol I love all the campaigns!! How could I have a top 10? I did a little of what Jay was talking about, hopefully he can finish it up. The colors are so bad!! Hopefully, we can experiment with the color scheme.
Lucid_Iguana is working on a Mac Tutorial on installing custom campaigns.
Like the new "How to support the Custom Campaign Initiative"? What should go in it??
Probably get some more done tonight or tomorrow.
I would be wary to rank campaigns. It can be demoralizing for some creators and also steer downloads to only the top few. Ultimately, I can see 3 or 4 categories:
Further, reducing the synopses would help make the lists appear more organized and concise. Lastly, I can add a showcase link to each campaign I have a playlist for. This is all on my to-do list, but anyone could do it if you think it's a good idea.
Hey. Definately right idea to clean up the list. Unfortunately almost all campaign are always "work in progress" state and when they are "done" it usually means that the project is no longer updated. I trust you can do good work with the clean up Hockeleberry. Another idea to consider is to divide campaigns into "high quality" or "low quality" section but quality is quite hard to define. How about Hockleberry's TOP10 campaigns?
i guess completed enough....like the first Act or available on the Arcade.
when we fot it finished up can you do a video of it on your channel?
@Hockleberry: Go
This is a good idea Hock. Some of these in the list are not actually completed, I'll clean it up when I have some time tomorrow.
The list of campaigns is too long to make any sense of it. I unilaterally decided to just batch all the complete campaigns together for ease of newcomers to the CCI.
The "Work in progress" campaigns will get their own page soon.
I'm going to merge the Sc1 Remakes, Indy, Co-op and Single Missions into just Complete Campaigns and Incomplete Campaigns. Soon
Hopefully, Mac Tutorial on installing custom campaigns is coming soon.
Also, simultaneously working on "How to make your own Custom Campaign" during my lunch breaks. LEave feedback, tips, yays and and anything else!!
Hey folks,
Things have slightly calmed down for me this week. Yay!
I am trying to update the CCI page and I started making a [theme music]

I'm looking for more videos/tutorials/wiki links. Suggestions. Ideas for structure of page. Criticism and feedback is appreciated and wanted. Right now it just has a few links and my inspirational message. Please offer advice on the page or here in this thread.
Thanks!!
In case any creators have not noticed, there is a chance legacy campaigns are broken these days post Bnet 3.0 patches. I think the big three that I've seen are terrain height issues making resources unable to be harvested, deprecation of .mp3 files, and strange nuke bugs where Nukes may not deal damage/land where expected. The nuke one might be related to terrain height.
Anyway, just wanted to point these things out as maps released any time prior to 6 months ago might have issues.
So many campaigns so little time.
Guess I better get crackin'
FYI...custom music might be broken in maps.
@Terhonator: Go
I think it has been resolved
