Push spawned attackers toward the enemy side to destroy their life crystal while protecting your own. Pick the right units over your enemy to push through your enemy's attackers.

I'm remaking a classic from SC1 for SC2.
Recommended players: 2 [1v1] or 4 [2v2]
Some details:
- Buy attacker armies at the top left corner of the map. Each individual unit purchase creates an army of that unit. These units will automatically attack toward the enemy's life crystal.
- Buy defensive structures and heroes at your Life Crystal. In addition to minerals, these special units require vespene gas.
- Mineral count increases automatically. To fasten the pace of game as time goes by, income and vespene gas increases as you kill more units.
- For more convenient purchasing, hotkeys are initiated at the start for each player. [1-4] are for buying attacker armies while [w] is the life crystal.
- You can still play with/computers by adding AI for a player slot. The AI just makes random units so don't expect it to be any good.

i don't agree. You need to have had the skill to obtain that much terrazine and gas (for cooldown) in the first place... and it should be countered by spawning any low hero that will take the hits... and sometimes it is a good tie breaker between REALLY long games
Hero's rising should probably be 2/3 then 1/3 cooldown instead of 1/2 then 0 cooldown. Continuous unstable gems feels a bit abusive.
suggestion: like theres +600 minerals, can you add a +600 terrazine upgrade?
hey tordecybombo i tried asking everyone but noone seems to know. Could you please explain what the -stats and -stats2 numbers mean? or at least let us know if you don't want to reveal it, it's driving me nuts lol

Like unlocking race dependent unique units? I realize unique units might be overpowered when massed so I'll put a charge restriction on them.

Yeah I think that would be a good idea only for E because some ppl stay low leveled. Or maybe just adding a little health. I've always wished there was some kind of bonus for ranking up. Something small where it doesnt really matter that much lol but that would be crazy awesome.
Hot keys for Decrepit and Marine are the same.
Also if by some miracle you and Strilanc could work on it together. I trust his judgement I think most ppl would agree. Don't know if he would but..
I never see anyone die to DT's or reapers at the beginning. I'd say maybe include it if the game has a person who has never played a single game before, but otherwise no. It'll just deter small armies and encourage waiting even more than the game already does
canons is a great idea. especially with the noob friendliness. too many times i see noobs dying of DT right from the beginning...
What do you think of adding 1 (or 2) unique supply-less photon cannons in the beginning defending the life crystal? I removed them a while ago because they caused some ridiculously long games. Now it shouldn't be as big of a deal, however it'll make early game different, like not spawning reapers for quick life crystal kills or newbies not dying so quickly. Mid-late when heroes come into play, they should easily be taken out. I guess you can consider them a health extension to the life crystal.
If it's no good to be into standard play, how bout adding it if there's at least 1 E rank playing? A little more friendly to the newbies.
Some of my comments (rating 29xx here). - 2v1 hyper mode is ridiculously unfair for the single person. 2x arma with the preloaded income is just impossible to defend against cheap strategy... (eg. 2 arma + mass reapers) Also i dunno if this is suppose to happen... but if i lose to 2 D+ players or something on a 2v1 because of cheap strat... i still lose ratings? really? - i think arma should be limited to be available to the 1 person directly opposite of you only during a 2v1 fight... and available again to the side player once your opposite enemy dies. at least in hypermode it should be that way to make it more fair for the 1 person - only allow 1 ultimate hero to be spawned at a time for 2v1?
If your ally leaves in a 2v1, you still only slowly gain 'control bar' or whatever. You have to kill off the pylon with a tower in order to even things out.
To sit there in the heat of battle. A good ol 2v1 you've played 5000 times. MORE A boss is heading your way. A split second determines whether your gonna win or lose. It's ok you've done this 1000 times. But wait it's different. So against your instincts you look for a counter Hero but your opponents right on your ass, you send out a mule, 2 mules and archon, your dead................good bye precious points you've worked on religiously for MONTHS.
It doesn't matter how much you study the new hotkeys they're all very easy but to teach an old dog new tricks he has to preform on a high wire with a beer bottle stuck up his ass, and DOGS DON'T HAVE OPPOSABLE THUMBS. Maybe the dog will eat at the neighbors house for awhile.He'll come back from time to time. To take shits and talk about how good things used to be. BWAAAAAAHHH.
and i think the current system is pretty good you just need to give it some time for people to get used to it before you change it again. The more you change it the less people get used to it and the more they dislike it.
One more thing i think you should add that should be easy and won't effect gameplay. You should add Team/Clan Tags that appear before or after players names. That was people can form groups and teams which will make the game more competetive and fun.
You should have incentives for raising your rating. Instead of doing by race make like 5 units to pick from that you unlock as your rating goes up, but you only get to pick 1 to use per game. Maybe have them unlocked at 1000,1500,2000,2500,3000. It would encourage new and low rated players to practice and play more.
Until I get the current system right. That's the most important since it most impacts gameplay.
For unique units, I was thinking about giving players unique units based on what race they are. So zerg can only get viralings, terrans can only get firebats, protoss can only get reanimating knights, etc. Only available in extravagant of course.
When are you going to implement Terra Tron and the other heroes? I've been looking forward to it for more then a week. If you need someone to test them, help make them, or just look over there stats i would be glad to help.
Whats the probability of getting the chance units? To be honest i think they give a seriously unfair advantage to the person who has them.
I already thought about removing the pool timer bonus after implementing terrazine tug. I'll try temporarily removing it to see how that works out.
[The counter to infestors is vindicators with something to spread them out. Ironically the best units to do that are... infestors. In any case, infestor then vindicator beats 2x infestor.
You should NOT gain a few points every game. It's a rating system, not a win count. In fact, ratings need to be fixed in the OTHER direction. In chess, the highest rating EVER was 2851. There are multiple battlecraft players with ratings over 3000, and I have a rating of 3100. That's downright ridiculous. Two players fighting one should not be rated as the sum of their ratings.]
No good player ever sends 2x infestors with nothing infront, at best 1/2 of your vindicators will actually survive the units infront of the infestors before they actually start getting killed by the infestors.
If your playing a 2v2 and you kill 1 person as a team there no reason you shouldn't get points for winning 2v1. I know the person whos on there own probably shouldn't lose very many if any but this is still a team game. If were playing 2 individual competitions to see who can kill there enemy first then lets change the map to 2 parallel lines and not an X.
