BattleCraft
Push spawned attackers toward the enemy side to destroy their life crystal while protecting your own. Pick the right units over your enemy to push through your enemy's attackers.

I'm remaking a classic from SC1 for SC2.
Recommended players: 2 [1v1] or 4 [2v2]
Some details:
- Buy attacker armies at the top left corner of the map. Each individual unit purchase creates an army of that unit. These units will automatically attack toward the enemy's life crystal.
- Buy defensive structures and heroes at your Life Crystal. In addition to minerals, these special units require vespene gas.
- Mineral count increases automatically. To fasten the pace of game as time goes by, income and vespene gas increases as you kill more units.
- For more convenient purchasing, hotkeys are initiated at the start for each player. [1-4] are for buying attacker armies while [w] is the life crystal.
- You can still play with/computers by adding AI for a player slot. The AI just makes random units so don't expect it to be any good.

I think we should have some BC Playoffs. There'd be epic 1v1's, and 2's would be even better.
Imagine 1v2ing not for the pts, but for your buddy.

Changes that need to happen:
These changes are all to prevent using an ally as a sacrifice in order to boost your rating. Currently you can have an ally kill themselves and send you all their resources right before you win your lane. You end up with a 2v1 kill, and more minerals/gas/terrazine/score than your ally's opponent. Easy win.

I have thought about that idea when playing, since you mentioned it. I think it is interesting, but don't like the hard work that I have put in against a pro to be wiped out like that. I hit them, they should stay hurt. I may be ok with it, if regen is even slower, and the crystal only heals to say, 20%, 25% max. Be prepared for some very, very, long games otherwise. One of the reasons I play BC is that the games can usually be wrapped up in half an hour. That's my two cents.
problem: when you spectate or referee a game you lose points as if you lost the game
The bar showing control (red/blue or teal/purple) should show control for both lanes. Use the top of the dialog for red/blue and bottom for teal/purple. I want to know how well my ally is doing.
Important Bug Report:
2v2 scenario:
Red kills Blue. Purple gains 2 gas and 600 terrazine from dead Blue. Battle continues in same round with Red + Teal vs Purple. Blue leaves the game while he's already dead and waiting for 2nd round. Purple gains another 2 gas even though Blue is already dead. So in total purple gained 4 gas... I don't think purple should be receiving the 2 gas when blue leaves the game while he's already dead right?
Might as well bookmark this page lol. Guys don't brush this off easy, think about it. I've been thinking about for awhile now.
•Base Regeneration
With the Diamond Backs and Splash damage from Infested Terren, Archon, Gem etc. I think that would make this game feel more complete to say the least.
Of course it would have to be small and require some testing but even at 1 point a second seems like a nice deal.
I've heard a few people mention Terrazine for base health but that would make Pros waaaay to hard to kill.
Would love some feedback.

Lately I've been using the initial 400 to get 3 gas first works like a charm. But I've found it's pretty easy to save yourself with score upgrade or an agro unit. Mostly do it for fun though.
Massing score and income seems really strong. Always get income upgrade, always trade terrazine for score.
You end up with so much money that you can kill heroes without breaking a sweat.
A few thoughts from a veteran: I think lurks were slightly over nerfed. Too easily countered now for such a legendary bc unit. I suggest 35(+30 AR). Vikings are OP now too. PS: Any way to release BC Classic(w/aggro mode!) as another ums map?
Where are rankings stored? I had assumed they would be on the server somehow, but I just reformatted my machine, and now im back to 1000 rank. I'm going to ty to restore the file, but what's it called and where is it stored? I am on Windows 7.

I always assumed the 'chance' was per-round, not per-player-per-round.
Rofl I just had a dream that their was a gamble button. It had like upgrade attack, random agro units, terrazine boost. But every time I used it something in m house would blow up.
Also finally put a chatroom msg on the loading screen so hopefully you will see more people in the "battlecraft" chatroom.
Those units appear randomly each round. If you remember the elusive firebat a while back, it's like that cept w/ there's more units now.
Obviously it's a bit unfair so I won't keep it like this for long (hopefully). Good thing they're really rare and the actual useful units will occur once in a blue moon. At the moment they're just "teasers" I guess.
I plan on making them unlockables through play time. Each player can choose one unique unit at the start of each round. Unique units will have charge cooldowns so you can't spam them easily.
I'm against the idea of unlockables and would like to have everything unlocked from the start for everyone so it's "fair", but im doing unlockables as a countermeasure to players deleting their stats. I'm not a fan of people smurfing or faking their ratings.
The only counter to infestors is infestors. I would highly recommend making vindicators do more damage.
Don't know how, but people are getting access to the chance units. Was so confused when interceptors and seige tanks I havent seen started coming at me. I've seen it a few times now.
bug report: if my partner leaves after 1 round in a greater than Bo1 game, my partner's pylon stays alive and i get no income bonus to start, makes 2v1 unfair the next round... no error message related to this bug
