Am I the only one that does not find Minecraft fun?. The graphics are rubbish. The gameplay is dull and mediocre. What do people see in this game..o.o

wow.... just wow the graphics are not rubbish, they are simple...like a better time in games.. [ theres HD texture packs for those like you tho lol] the gameplay is amazing... im sorry you dont have any imagination lol... thats what the game is all about. The better your imagination, the more amazing the game becomes.

I mean to each their own of course, anyone has he right not to like it. but dont dare say "rubbish graphics and dull gameplay" [if your playing the "free version"...well then that would explain it.... ]

    edit: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/2680-Minecraft explains it well.

I should also note that I have a budkitt server loaded to the max with addons. such as npc...craftbucket, pail stone and magnet blocks...

Pailstone rocks if your a redstone freak like me... and magnet blocks is what minecraft was missing... you can make it so when you hit a button for example, a whole wall on the side of a mountain lifts up. tho I run it off my own desktop that stored away in another room (i just leave it on rofl) I dont think my upload bandwidth would be able to support many people tho =/

They banned me from the FORUMS for making a post. That's fine. I don't care.

But ban me just uploading maps specifically? I could log onto sc2 just fine, but why ban me from uploading maps? That is really odd and deliberate to me. There's no avoiding this fact.

Im not saying I dont agree that if that did happen, I think it would be overboard... no doubt.[in fact I already thought it was weird... I wont lie, I thought you were just trolling about not being able to upload your maps at first it was so odd] (if you get banned on wow forums, you can still play the game ...ect) but in the end, you gotta look at it, it is their rules... good or not lol. Just got to be careful with how close you come to those rules, and how far you go past them.

    Quote:

    Hello,

Team Revoki contacted me this weekend because they were needing a melee map that you don't have to remake. They wanted to use on their team. So I made the system, which I called iCJUG. The system works for any melee map. It's basically a 1v1 melee tournament where players based on skills and priorities are picked to play together. Who loses become and observer and who wins stays playing. And of course, there are all the Nexus Word Wars features on it, including admins, all-time ranking, player's stars, etc. Your score in one map is carried over to all other iCJUG maps.

iCJUG is the official training place of the master league players from Revoki.

Anyway, the map was published now, so this is my first post about it. Make sure you play with 14-players and I will be happy to hear some feedback and ways to improve it (since it's still beta). You will find iCJUG on the first page if you filter by Melee.

Currently, there are 6 iCJug maps published on Battle.net: Shakuras Plateau, Xel'Naga Caverns, Terminus RE, The Shattered Temple, and iCCup Valhalla. (I will be glad to hear more suggestions).

for those that dont want to load another site.

Yep, default theme. Tested with IE, got the same issue.

I edit my posts a lot, because I re-read them right after posting for typos, and I usually find some ;)

I do the same, almost all my longer posts have like two edits to them within the first 3 mins

    Quote from Mozared: Go

All in all, as with (I would argue) everything, I reckon the truth is probably in the middle. While I'd argue for going Terrain>Data>Triggers simply to keep things chronological, people like Vexal make a good point in that jumping about creates the most creativity and makes it less boring. Not so much of an "I finished terraining, up next is a full week of boring data editing to do, god help me T_T" feeling. I reckon in a perfect world where you'd have endless time and no real 'emotions', going terrain>data>triggering would be 'optimal' in terms of never having to use placeholders and just getting the map done as fast as possible. In the real world, it's probably more of a case of 'what you feel like doing'.

    well said imo.
