It DOES. It does not only show that nothing can beat the popularity system (because an overly advertised map could only be popular by being featured outside the featured tab) but also shows that they don't need to fix the system anymore because they got what they want (their maps popular).
It's pretty much like:
"Blizzard, will you fix the popularity system to make ur maps popular?"
"I don't need to fix anymore, I found a way to make them popular without fixing the system"
How does that not hurt?
FEATURED MAPS SHOULD BE IN THE FEATURED TAB. What's the point of a featured tab then?
what.... im sorry rod, you know I like you.. and I dont mean this in a "bad" way.. but I think people that say that are such idiots... blizzard knooows its not perfect, them putting them in the spotlight BY NO MEANS even "kinda sorta" means they think the system is ok... they have said many times in posts they know its not perfect... so..no...thats not what that means it simply means they want to show off the maps they paid to make.
The QQ comes for a mapmaker who wants his map to get some attention.
People can keep on bs-ing themselves that they are modding just for fun and don't care about popularity. But for me if my map gets more attention I am happier.
Call me attention-whore or QQ-er but at least I have purpose/ambition in what I do. Unlike some people who keeps on stressing they have nothing to do in their lives so they use it for mapmaking.

do you know what a logical fallacy is? its what your post is... this is a LIST OF MAPS not a in game match [which has RULES]... not the same thing, they made the game, hosting their maps is not cheating.. its them doing what they want with their game. so please, have a bit of sense

issue right there if hats all your code, each time a unit enters hill, a new timer is made, when another unit enters, it saves that new timer over the old timer... thats one issue
also as the post above me said... dont use a table, use a global var, or a global array.

you can do this two ways,[trigger wise, its in trigger section so ill do these methods] 1) you can do a crap load of conditions If unit that died was X give X resources, if unit was Y give Y resources... but thats kinda....icky, what you can do is get the catalog value of its cost (of the unit that dies). I dont know the path, as I dont need to use catalogs in any of my concept maps. but im sure another user can point you in the right direction.
