Kinda hard to sell low dmg mazing turrets, to replace with higher dmg turrets, when you can never sell.....
Is it possible to just have selling disabled during a wave? Or maybe have like a pause after boss waves to sell off turrets? Mazing is usually done with the el-cheapo machine guns, which only have 1 upgrade, railgun, neither of which do pretty much any dmg to anything even remotely armored....
Ok so i'm going to have to ask you why are you removing the fun stuff out of your game... first you fuck up bottom by making you unable to wall all the way.. then you remove selling during rounds so you cant have fun doing the pathing trick... Also removed the ability to play 1v1 (did this with my friend, we would each go bottom) by disabling spawns when someone isnt there/left... now we get a super cool single spawn which is easy as hell even on unpossible....
Also why can't we play it through when the other team dies.. it always piss me off when the whole other side leaves and we can't keep going because of that
I feel like the way the waves are spawning right now is fine, but they should not be disabled when someone leaves.. or at least put a vote be like "solo" "team" and then spawns don't get disabled

1) I'm removing armor on all waves except the armored waves and bosses (DONE)
2) Bosses have been reduced a little in HP (DONE)
3) Air is manageable now as long as one person focuses on air towers, they all do double damage to air WITH splash.
4) You are not SUPPOSED to beat this TD, you merely have to do better than the other team. I would be a pretty sadistic person if I put the nukes in there for fun. One side is going to suck more than the other and leak and get nuked / killed !
5) I'm going to add in a dialog to let you continue playing after you beat the other team. (UPCOMING)
6) Building and selling will be disabled while the wave is running. I will extent the time between rounds by 10 seconds. This is only to get rid of pathing "tricks" meant to exploit. I'm sorry to do this but there is no other way to ensure people play fairly. (DONE)
7) Last, I'm going to be fixing the nukes a bit, right now they aren't queuing up and simply overwriting each other when you get more than one at a time.

The switch thats disabling/enabling turret selling, isn't active in the middle of a wave apparently. If you build a turret like say, just after bosses spawn (in top area), you can sell that turret at anytime during boss wave. Juggling is still possible now, just have to have both potential path's open from the start.... >.<
Turn building back on! You cant make a good d anymore, u dont have the time. Juggling is annoying, but most people wont figure it out with selling turned off. Theres got to be a better way to prevent juggling without making the game itself so much worse. At the very least, take the timer out. Make it a "press the button when ur ready" system if u must turn off building. Also, nukes are annoying because they cripple ur opponent beyond recovery, so when ur opponent is just a bit behind they can be gimped beyond repair. If u really want to make the game competitive, add ways to mess with ur opponents, although honestly I think the comraderie of the current game is fine and quite fun ^_^.
I don't know if you fixed this but last time I played the map(like 4 days ago), some guy from the other team somehow got over to our teams side, and blocked our paths. Maybe make a trigger that transports enemy team builders to teleport back to their side if they cross over. Just a heads up. Also not really a bug, but the air waves are way too tough imo. Otherwise, its a great TD.
A good way to make it if you can, would be to only disable building if there isnt any building IN YOUR CURRENT SQUARE.
Say i'm Green. I killed my adds. Orange and Yellows adds arent over here yet. I could take that time to build my turrets, and when they arrive in my square, disable building.
The reason i said "In your builder current square" is so you cant go to another person's square and do it.

I just wanted to say I am so glad you keep improving the map. It has become something great and people always make good comments while in game.
On one of the recent games I played I actually lost my builder. I'm not sure what I did, I thought I sent him to one end of my maze then I went to upgrade a tower. When I went to go click on him again he was nowhere to be found which made it hard to do anything really :D
Maybe for anti juggling you can take off the salvage feature on the towers and add it to the builder with a cool down. Or you can have a made up resource required to salvage that you get every second for 15 seconds that caps at 15. This would make the timer work on all your towers. Sometimes I do need to sell but not to the extent of juggling. You could even make it the more someone sells the slower the made up resource is replenished which is almost how the Desktop TD flash game does it. Just throwing out some ideas. Why did u take away min bonus after a person leaks? How is a person supposed to recover if they dont get anything when they leak even one unit? That just makes a cascade where if the person fails at one wave theyll fail all the rest of the waves. This game is only fun if people stay in, making situations where you cant recover if you make a mistake or screw up your d is a good way to make sure that people whove only played a few times are going to leave and not come back. And why dont u get mins if one of ur allies is slow? I can understand not getting mins if youre slow, but if one of your allies messes up? You took away mins that were needed by the top players to make a competent defense. Now if you have even one player who cant kill quickly enough in the first few rounds, the top players are going to leak, and then not get mins again, and then leak everything, and then rage/boredom quit. Top needs the bonus per level mins or it will leak, no matter how good a defense it has. If youre going to make them conditional you need to throw in a few bonus mins somewhere else or top just fails.
I like this game, but I think your most recent changes have sacrificed a lot of what was fun about it to fix some things that werent all that huge of a problem to the core of the game. I think its cool that youve created a maze d with this interesting check point twist, but you really need to rebalance things. Stop focusing on fixing this double entrance exploit, youve done it with the no selling/building during rounds thing. Focus on balancing the game and making it fun. Fix top so its at least not horrible to play, and make the game a bit more accessible to newbies, maybe with a bit of a tutorial in the loading screen and making the first 10 rounds or so a bit more forgiving, at least minerals wise. This is a good d, and I think it can be an amazing d if its touched up just a bit.
I'm sorry if I'm sounding pushy, but I just finished a game where my middle was building a decent defense starting off of their 2nd arrow and I leaked up top because I wasnt getting enough resources due to the absence of bonus mins because middle wasnt killing fast enough, even though they werent actually leaking and neither was I. I understand making changes, but please realize that your game is balanced rather precariously right now and that even small changes in the number of minerals given out or enemy toughness or time constraints are going to make it too hard or unforgiving. I just hope youre keeping that in mind when you make your changes ^_^'
Just played it last night... probably one of the best maps I've played on bnet now. Not to say it's perfect, as people have some comments on this thread obviously, but compared to other maps I've tried... this one is pretty good :D
I love good tower D's and I love good terrain/lighting. Best of luck with this map!

Bring back Selling and buying during rounds, Also, I just played your recent update with this "speed bonus crap" Honestly, ive been talking with everyone who ive played with since you updated it about 10 games now, Everyone hates it, get rid of that and bring back the regular bonus for not leaking.
I know where the intention is. the intention is defiently there... but its someothing that didnt translate well from paper to practice. Now, people see the speed bonus and start making towers in front of the spawn point. Neutering their defenses, just to get the bonus.
How about keeping minerals bonus as it was. But the team that clears faster will "Appease the temple" and reduce your retribution by 2-3% or something.. (not possible to go in the negatives)

I just played and was able to come back from a substantial disadvantage when the other side had 4 players and I only had me. It is not impossible to improve when you are doing bad at the start I've seen it happen many times. Some people just give up if they leak once or they spend every mineral they get and can't save for anything with higher DPS. I've seen some people just maze and it works okay at the start they don't add any DPS later and complain. I've tried to explain to them too but some people can't wait I guess :D
