I'm making a demo for a DS game that i've been conceptualizing on and off for about 3 years (have about 30 papers in a notebook with stuff about it), and i can do a lot of the work on my own since i can ask questions here, but i need someone to make a bunch of basic models of things in a house (and textures if you can). I have both photoshop and 3ds max but am god awful with both.
Here's a list of things I need:
-bathtub
-toilet
-towel rack
-TV
-some cabinets/chester drawers/tabels
-bigg dining room table
-some carpets/rugs
-lamp
-chairs (poofy lazy-boy type chair preferably)
-washer
-dryer
-stove/counter
-oven
-several paintings
the pictures on the paintings, tv screen, etc don't really matter and not all of these have to be done. But I really want this to be an amazing demo (many people have been wanting this for years) so any help is appreciated. post here or pm me if youre interested!
hm.. didnt even think of that. would there really be already done models that i can just download?? (like i said, i'm REALLY new to 3ds max)
EDIT: so after looking for the premade models, i have 2 big concerns:
1. the first 2 sites i found both made my spywarething pop up and i had to restart my computer
2. everything is in very different styles (for example an all-white classic living room, a retro desk and chair, etc). I need everything to be the same style, and even BETTER if i can request the style
well no offense man, but if you ask a bunch of random people to make a bunch of models for you, they will also probably be in different styles. also if you are asking for model requests, you need to give alot more details. Poly count, scale, whether it needs unwrapping, whether it needs textures, etc etc.
bump. I still need a bunch of simple 5-minute 3d models. 2 or 3 are rather important, but the rest are aesthetic (sp). Post here or PM me if interested please
I don't know of any 3D models that only take 5 minutes to create, even some of these simple things you requested would take about an hour each (depending on the skill and experience of the 3D modeler / skinner.) All of these things would take quite a bit of time to create, especially including textures. Plus as someone earlier recommended, there should be a lot of these basic models on the internet somewhere. They would probably have to be made into a uniform scale, however. If you're looking for just one 'style' of models then it would be best to try to find a single website with all or most of your required models.
okay, the only models that are really important are a Staircase (that uinits can actually walk on.. therefore i can't just use doodads), a Ramp with thesame base width and height of the staircase, and 2 Picture frames (I have certain images i can give you for the picture inside it. The frames themselves can look exactly the same)
Would anyone mind making just those 4 things? The ramp/staircase is because the map is a house, with 2 stories. When the player walks up the stairs for the first time, the steps go flat and the player will be forced to slide down, fight a mini-boss, then the steps will return to normal and the player can go up to the 2nd floor.
I would've said this before, but some of this project is me makin' parts up as i go, but now i know that's all i NEED, the rest is just for looks.

What's a 'ds' game? And secondly, I would have thought there would be hundreds of models of kitchen appliances on the internet. Have you tried there?
a Nintendo DS game... lol

Textures can be simple, poly count doesn't natter if you can easily tell what it is, and scale is unimportant cuz I can scale it in GE
I was hoping I could get one guy to do it for me with the same style. The project doesn't have a deadline

@ctccromer: Go

BOTH websites i found with 3d models put viruses on my computer. I'm not trying that again. I guess I'm wrong about the timing, so sorry about that.

You could always use stuff people have created for The Sims, lots of household items there.
