Look at the top of the page, there's Maps, Assets, Authors, Teams. Wouldn't it make sense to add a Tutorials section there that would function like the other ones? The tutorial listing is nice, but people often forget to add theirs to the list and the tutorial eventually gets lost on page 42 or something.
Users could also have a link (and a counter) under their avatar, leading to all their tutorials (exactly like maps/assets). No more fuss with signatures or making separate posts just to list all your tutorials.
Oh hey- another thing. When you want to see the last time somebody logged in or if they are online at the current time, you have to find a post they made. The info is not shown on their user page for some reason. What I mean is from this post, you guys can see the last time I logged in over here

Hullo. I heard about this site off of TL and on a whim I decided to check it out today, despite knowing basically nothing about mapmaking.
I'm not sure if this has been suggested yet, but.. maybe it'd be a good idea to have one central thread for map ideas? The forum is cluttered with a bunch of threads like "New Map Idea Halo Starcraft" or this or this or this or.. you get the idea.
Granted, this opens up opportunities to get "your" map stolen, but some people just want to share ideas and don't ever intend to actually make the map they're suggesting. If people are concerned about the e-fame, well, I guess if someone takes their idea and makes a wildly popular map without crediting them they can join the games and proudly tell everyone that the original idea for the map was posted by them in this very forum.
Also, the posting quality here is lol. Exhibits A, B, and C. Are the mods here inactive or are the expectations just low?
Simple solution: you write a thread "map ideas for non mapmakers" and post it in the general section (tittle it the way YOU want) and start it up with your ideas... then update it as best you can if it catches on and people post on it.And I do think such a thread would be a good idea.
sc2m mods are very few (compared to tl) and have (with the admins and members) made a great forum... by the way, this site would make you a mapmaker if you so desire... and that's a huge achievement.

- Option to be better notified when you get a PM [Send email option]= 100% for, because pm are not posts (and people tke it raw when it comes to not answering them, and some of us do work and have long lapses of time without sc2m access)
- The mentor system.= ? Can do without, need to reread what was said about it, seems irrelevant and difficult to implement, that's what happens everywhere anyway... organically.
- Set bbcode as the default type= 100% for, me likes smileys !?
- Make the auto PM's sent to users when a thread is moved show the correct information.= a personnal pm from the mod seems best to me
- Add a new filter to the map search for "Number of players"= 100% for, let's not forget this is not sc2, this is better
- When viewing as a guest then login in, return to the screen you were at, not your profile page= who cares really?, people are so lazy it's frightening
- Make locked threads locked [aka users can still post in them]= 100% for and it's been done
- RSS feed= 100% for, although i do not use it for lack of time
- Have a Mail symbol next to name to immediately send a private message to that person.= personnal pm's are but 2 clicks away, who cares
- Make edit/update button work every time= it seems fine since the bug is not there anymore.. it's a refresh matter only?
- Possibly show number of thread views at the top of the thread, as you can currently only see views if you see
the thread from the outside = hard work for not much
( - = Something most think is needed, * = Could go both ways)= 100% for the work already done and thank you for it
Possibly a poll on these matters would "strengthen the list?

Above your post are a couple of buttons. Press the one that looks like a cog. Not sure how well the highlighting works, but it at least makes code look nice.
