The Final Frontier is a complex space strategy map.

Fun fact, the map has 13700 line code, however I dont use galaxy.
Features:
-A completely open technology research system, with millions of combinations and a unique result every time.
-Map generator with randomly generated planets and stars based on H-R diagram. With this you will never play on the same map.
-Customizable space ships with 8 type of hull, weapons, drives, hull plating and shield.
-Time based alliance system, where both side have to agree in a pact.
-Focusable colonies on economy, production, research or mining.
-Unique ship building, where production time per ship is less if you build more ship. Also ships quality counts in the production time too.
-8 type of building for your colonies.
-3 custom resources, which you can only spend on other colonies, if you transport it with a transport ship.

and i thought other maps were great O_o" 1 of the best ive seen and trust i spend alot of time trolling through maps
Perhaps you can go even deeper with the strategy by adding "events" , which may randomly occur on your planets. For example, the enslaved people can start a rebellion at which point you are faced with 2 (perhaps more?) options. A) give them the money they want (you lose some minerals and/or gas) B) send some of your fleet back to the planet to deal with the rebellion.
Its just an idea, idk if it goes with what you are trying to accomplish.
hmm 2-3 more day and testing can began with no research, building and ship design system.
Currently I am rewriting all the math to support higher numbers and more correct calculations.
Also currently these ships I am planning to implement in the test version:
war ships:
Fighter > Bomber
Battleship > Cruiser
Cruiser > Fighter
Bomber > Battleship
non war ships:
-probe
-transport ship (I might wait with this as I want to make a system which allows you easily setup transport routes between mining and production planets)
-colony ship
-troop transport (this will be really troop transport and you will need these to conquer planet)
I want that the map be pretty complex, but keeping the gameplay pretty simple.
I'd be glad to help you out by testing your map. The map looks pretty complex :-).
2-5 days and I think I will have a test able version with simple stuffs. So I need alpha testers on the EU server. Also I uploaded a new image.
