[Campaign] Ascension of Duran Reimagined
Don't forget to download the Ascension of Duran mod files in the files tab! As of 0.7.1, they are required to play the campaign!
For eons the Protoss homeworld of Aiur had prevailed. This time has ended. The Protoss have ordered all of their forces back to Shakuras, while the Zerg Swarms succumb to infights between the rivaling Cerebrates, leaving the once pristine Aiur a smoldering ruin.
What may seem like nothing but chaos to some is what others see as an opportunity to prove themselves - an opportunity to ascend.
This campaign is a reimagined version of the original AoD by Whiplash. It consists of both remakes of the original missions, as well as some entirely new ones.
Story
Your brood has been slaughtered. The wretched Dark Templar killed your Cerebrate. You cannot hear the Hive Mind anymore; the calming voices of your thousands of brothers and sisters. All you can still hear are the agonized screams of your children. Faint - yet full of pain.
You are filled with rage. You thirst for revenge. But what could possibly still this thirst? Who could still this thirst?

How to play
Download the newest version of the campaign maps and the launcher [v0.7.1] and the mod files. Unpack the downloaded folder and open the README inside. If you follow the installation instructions there you'll be good to go!

Don't worry, I just missed the account migration thing, so my old account's been blocked. Contacted Sixen to try and get it and this project back.
If it doesn't work out, I'll ask for this project page to be taken down and just open up a new one.
Hello author! Your campaign by us (Russian Preview) has finally been translated into Russian, here is the link: https://www.sc2-ruspreview.ru/p/ascension-of-duran.html. The mod for the campaign, unfortunately, is very old from MP, it would not be bad if I did it on the new version and uploaded a portrait of Duran with yellow eyes. I also noticed that the achievement with the executor does not work, please fix it.

Мод к кампании к сожалению очень старый от МР, было б не плохо, если б сделал на новой версии и загрузил портрет Дюрана с желтыми глазами. Так же я заметил, что достижение с вершителем не работает, почини пожалуйста.

Currently working on another project, the Maporino-winning ReelCraft. Once that's released, I'll try and tackle mission 7. :-)

Hello dear author. We are translating additional StarCraft 2 campaigns into Russian. As far as we know, your campaign is confirmed by Blizzard as an ENT (storyline), we have already translated many campaigns, we would like to know when there will be a release to do everything at once and not disturb you in future with our txt.

How many missions are planned?
Also I've found a bug - when I start The Test mission I immediately end up in victory screen. Regardless of whether I manually selected it from a menu or it was automatically launched after completing the first mission.

I wish more of good SC1 custom campaigns were reworked for SC2 engine, it's so much more enjoyable (for me at least) to play them in modern engine with good pathing and UI.
Where did you get that leviathan brood defiler skin?

it's interesting to play sc1 mod campaign
and I have some advice on mission2:
1.Protoss should have observers in waves and bases,to counter Duran
(Duran can counter templar and reaver easily,then the fragile zerglings can slaughter the others....Isn't it unfair?)
2.Dark Archon may use spells more powerful,at least,it should use maelstrom twice before killed
(A spellcaster is better to be killed with 0 energy,instead of 100 or 200)
