BattleCraft
Push spawned attackers toward the enemy side to destroy their life crystal while protecting your own. Pick the right units over your enemy to push through your enemy's attackers.

I'm remaking a classic from SC1 for SC2.
Recommended players: 2 [1v1] or 4 [2v2]
Some details:
- Buy attacker armies at the top left corner of the map. Each individual unit purchase creates an army of that unit. These units will automatically attack toward the enemy's life crystal.
- Buy defensive structures and heroes at your Life Crystal. In addition to minerals, these special units require vespene gas.
- Mineral count increases automatically. To fasten the pace of game as time goes by, income and vespene gas increases as you kill more units.
- For more convenient purchasing, hotkeys are initiated at the start for each player. [1-4] are for buying attacker armies while [w] is the life crystal.
- You can still play with/computers by adding AI for a player slot. The AI just makes random units so don't expect it to be any good.

Yup, seen them as well. Hard to pinpoint when they appear.
Can someone please upload the newest version of Battlecraft to the european servers? I would really love to see the new map and I have heard it is great!
Is there a way for me to download the map and host it on European server?
If so, can someone please explain it shortly :)
Thanks and have a great sunday
Does this ever happen where the round is only 1 round and not extended to Bo3?
Yeah ratings loss is still happening. I keep losing points when I win a 2v1 where the last enemy leaves. I've dropped from A- to B- over several games while winning almost all of them.
I do notice the rating loss doesn't seem to happen in the game. I only notice it the next game, and I've watched it as the games end. It might be that the map is not clearing the 'playing round' data so it assigns an automatic loss at the start of the next game.
Nope, that's outside the scope of the map. I said it in one of my older comments several months back when I first implemented the rating system.
It would be great if I could though D:
Would it be feasible to implement a rudimentary match making system for BattleCraft? I was thinking it could just check ratings and match up the two highest players. Though, I'm not sure if you could override this if two players joined as a party and wanted to play together.
Norbak, You know there are rounds already implemented right? Its Bo3 right now if you vote to Extend.
Create rounds. The games are over pretty quickly. E.g. best of 5. I find it annoying having to recreate a game all the time :)
Just another confirmation that the rating loss bug is definitely still happening under the same circumstances.
soo, does the EU version get updated still, een though it keeps showing Battlecraft 2.3.3 and no notification of an update?
The lobbies are useless for team layout, as far as I can tell. The only thing I rely on is joining as a 2 person party will put you on the same team. Probably.
For example, moving someone between teams has no effect. I do it all the time when a game is going to start with 3 people: I try to move my ally to the opposing team so it's somewhat fair. Then the game starts and I'm on the large team.
Should be 13 vs 24.
Lobbies are weird sometimes. Maybe they changed the way lobbies work?
Could you clarify something tordecy? In what order are teams assigned in the lobby? We were playing arranged 2on2 from the battlecraft channel tonight. I thought I remembered the teams were, in order of joining party, 12 vs 34. It seems it was 13 vs 24 but then another time it didn't seem to match up that way. Perhaps we were mistaken on who joined in what order.
I like the idea of aberations but they seem underpowered, whats up with that.
Yes. I can try to find a replay of it as it just happened.
Do you still occasionally lose rating when your opponent disconnects?
I'm talking about post-patch 1.2
Income should slowly multiply to double or triple when no units are on the field.
Join the "Battlecraft" Channel! Get some strat talk rollin' =D Also, itd be nice to see tordecy make some appearances while he's testing ;)
