The Battery looks good, why you thinked that there could be a texture/material error? I saw what zolden said and that's true, the specular maps for Zerg units always look blue, and for Protoss look dark golden, the color of specular map will change the color of light which the model reflect. But it doesn't always cause distortion, for the refiected light color also depends on the environment light and the alpha channel of Normal map (it's really complicate)
I now start to create new models, maybe this time will be 8 to 10 spaceships in the future.
Now I am working on a comic style character, for that each of my partners has a character model in the SC2 game. And this one is for my partner NanaKey. Now she is ill, hope her get better soon.
I saw that, looks pretty good, too bad that I can't spell Korean. The electric arc model are also very good, Maybe the only problem is Dark Templar need a better attack animation and then that could be perfect. Perhaps an addtional m3a can fix that.
The origin models in 3dsmax are aslo very huge (perhaps 600 MB.) It becauses that the SC2 don't have better solution to simulate the soft materials like the underdresses and hair. So I used more bones than Blz's most models and that needs many frames to keep them "soft". If you want smaller files (both the m3 and m3a) here is the solution: I can chance the animation set in Star tools-Export from "middle" to "low" that will remove more frames and rebake the entile animation.
Also I can upload the max files (too bad that's huge )-: ) if you need them.
