Here is the goal: Create a game that can appeal to every type of 'custom game' player.
There are several different types of custom games people play. Alot of people play the same game several times in a day because they are fans of it. I have seen people play the same game up to 50-100 times in a row. I do not want responds as to what games are BAD or about games you dont/will not play.. tell me about the games you find awesome and play constantly. about how they are better than the rest and this is why you play the map.

i have not played the game but here is a good suggestion. make each level up a 3 unit choice. reason being, paper rock scissors. EG: Zealots > zerglings > marines > Zealots... if you only have 2 choices then one is bound to be stronger than the other. once people figure what ONE is stronger its no longer a choice game....
so its basicly a new game rather than an extension of the 1st one? EG: starcraft and starcraft brood wars have 2 different bnets. also do you know if you convert the maps to HotS they will retain any information? i have herd that the conversion on the editor now is worth crap going from sc1 to sc2.
1st off i did not read the other 15PAGES on this thread, LMAO. want i wanted to know is when/if hots comes out will i be able to use the NEW units from HotS on the custom maps i have already made? or do you think the 2 will be seperated? just a thought. :D

i can make the 1st one of a hellion. :D dont know about the DOTA one being i dont have the data to see if i can do it. :P
the game is not type then get instant affect. what you type is relayed into a build order/que for a computer. this goes for everyone. so you can type 100commands in 2 seconds it dont matter. each computer AI already has a basic build commands like in a melee game. the only thing that makes the computer better is the player instructing it.
Implomented 1 special ability where you can make your worker units invulnrebel to attack for a minute, can only use once time.
any suggestions for other special abilities?
