there is a merge feature but it's total crap. best way is to copy XML code and paste it into XML of the other map, it's per data type, not per data entry at least.
i think not all contestants were happy about last years ending and now blizzard is upset too. they shall take the money and bring more ppl in the arcade, no matter what
go to my signature, open the map rites of shakuras, it has a custom UI for attributes. you have ofc to take care of levels with triggers (or data by adding or removing attribute buffs)

you have to create a new layoutfile. then find the button and add these values as children (it's all xml). there are good UI-Tutorials on mapster.

there is "custom value of unit" in triggers, works without data. you can't just add new data entries to a unit.

i would use the periodic event on the launch missile effect which was added latelty.
