I think it really needs everything to work instantly (WASD, mouse click shoot) when in FPS or TPS. I personally need fast action ability.
I mostly played FPS (Counterstrike, Call Of Duty, Battlefied) and I play really fast. 1/4 delay will not work on my abilities even jsut a jerk lag.
So I have unit Raynor and changed it's weapon to Wraith Burst Laser. The Laser launch model are coming out from Raynor's chest.
I wanted it coming out ofcourse from the tip of his gun, where do I adjust this using data editor?
Sentry guns, Photon blasters and default gauss rifle are fine, just some of the weapons especially lasers and Protoss weapons.

Is Blizzard doing something or making a fix on that input lag for FPS/TPS type of game?
Is it true, lots of FPS/TPS type of game right now are just sitting and waiting for Blizzard to fix this issue?

The Last Swarm - Beta Version
-Survive the swarm for as long as you can.
-Game gets harder eventually.
-Buy advance weapon during higher levels.
-Shoot smart, use weapon only when needed and what they are design for.
-Over 20 weapons available.
-3 Players
The longer you survive, the more thill it gets.

I believe that the WASD lag are due to the keypress coded by Blizzard.
I have made a very simple test map which had nothing at all except for keypress move and stop.
Not even an event that uses the "every 0.001 do action" for WASD.
What I made was, if player 1 keypress "W" down then issue order move raynor01 to targeting Right Bottom of entire map, distance of 500 replace existing.
then another trigger , if player 1 keypress "W" up then issue order stop raynor1, replace existing.
Its simple as that and uploaded the map to battle.net
I cant believe it, that lag is still there.
just the "W" keypress trigger
no periodic event
only 1 player
I use both the "W" keypress and controlling the unit using the default mouse movement.
Lots of lag using the "W" but nothing on the default mouse movement.
So i dont know if im still gonna follow those WASD issue solution or tips that are posted here.

but the thing is, if i create a dialog box, the options for view players are "Active players", "All Players" Enemies of PLayers" etc....(all player group)
No such thing as player 1 only. If i go to the value, there's no field for value. If i use custom script and put "1" or "player 1", it does not work
I wanted some text to be shown on the screen just for a specific player.
I am using Dialog Box item Label Text and when I use this, it shows to all the players, no option for player1 or player 2.
So I wanted some text for player1 only and some text for player 2 only.
something like, If your current player = 1 then show text for player1, if your current player = 2 then show text for player 2.
No triggers involved since im inserting these to Map Initialization event. thanks
Thanks anyway, but i just fixed it with a better idea.
instead of slow, i just add a behavior that will disable attack and move which is better for my game play.
Overall Result: I just made a new weapon called "Parashock Cannon" that will disable a unit from attacking and moving instead of killing it, and uses
the Phase Disruptor models and sounds.

Just found a solution....
Instead of slow behavior,
I just added a behavior that will disable attack and move which totally freezes the unit and better for my game play.

Creating a set effect is what I need. Im still trying to understand how those weapons, effects, behavior and models are linked. Now I know, Thanks!
