    I think I might have finally fixed all starting battle bugs...Its so hard to say whats wrong when the bug occurs totally randomly, but I think its all good now (I hope next test doesnt prove me wrong)

    I have also added support to save and load 5 decks, which seems to work fine.

    In patch 1.2 I will most likey redo battle UI and add ability to name the decks you save. Other UI things should remain quite the same.

    There is still lot more to do. I need to add more content and fix some other bugs and balance the cards.

    Fulla also suggested I should make the game more simple, so Im still thinking about that. I guess I would need more opinions if the game is too complicated...I personally kinda like it the way it is now....

    so all testers welcome on EU, add burne 478 and send a pm if you are willing to test :)

    You will probly have to make cinematics that way that they can display for all players at any time.

    example: zerg attack village, make units gain more hp than they do damage and you can show it whenever you like. I would probly add trigger when they start attack and when they stop (and start again if nobody is watching)....meh I hate explaining this, but I hope you get the picture (the units shouldnt just stand there..and units shouldnt do anything if nobody is watching).

    or you could spawn new unit when one dies...wotever...there is always a way :)

    I think the major problem is not the story...its how its told! If its just plain wall of text in a dialog box, then its SO SO SO boring.

    If you add cinematics to the story, it might work and make it interesting.

    I manage to save and load stuff in my map perfectly fine when I play...

    But when I play the map again I cant load the stuff I had saved in previous game.

    So is there something you should do if you want to save bank permanently so that you could acces it anytime? I only use "save bank" command when I want to save all the stuff I have stored.

    • edit* problem solved. I was just loading the banks in wrong way.

    It doesnt even give any error. It just goes couple seconds on "uploading" when its 49% and then changes to "fail"...I guess ill try to redo variants then.

    • edit* Didnt work even tough I redid variants...its so stupid that it doesnt even give any kind of error and I can play the map solo just fine without any error ingame....

    Now it seems I cannot upload my map for private testing. It goes to 49% and FAILS....

    wtf is up with this shit...I have only like 3mb maps loaded so it aint the size...or amount of maps i uploaded...would be nice if some of this stuff would work!!!

    I think it is the best chapter so far. Im not sure yet if Im still going to continue the series. Obviosly I have planned more stuff on future chapters, but there is only so much you can do with the units animations and effects without getting the repeative.

    Well just give me some feedback and Ill see what I can do next.

    YEAAh! Hunterscraft is the best!

    For those who havent played it...I have released unlocked version of it somewhere in mapster. You can test the 2 bosses in the map and take a look and maybe learn something. (I probly wont work on the map since it seems a bit too big of a project for a single person + I have my card game and Goku firebat series).

    My list:

    1. Income wars 2. mm...Sotis 3. meh...maybe boynty hunters 4. Combo Arena

    And I dont really play custom maps since they get so boring...Sotis was fun for like 5-10 games and then It got boring. I would say its good try to remake dota, but its still lacking.

    Income wars...Iv played like 5 games of it. Its simple and on first page....Meh its a timekiller game...

    bounty hunters was ok too...not really special, but it was fun for a while.

    Combo arena is the best! because its mine :(....maybe its too hard for some anyways (and I havent fixed all the bugs)

    I dont really play custom games or ladder....I just make my own maps. The quality of the custom maps is quite bad im afraid, but if I had to pick some games....

    Maybe adding different type of text to dialogs or change the buttons to look better somehow. Now it looks just like every other dialog (Iv been playing around with dialogs so much it looks boring). And it kinda bothers me that the bar is so wide, even tough you are only using like half of it.

    Maybe the UI doesnt matter that much, it seems to serve its purpose. So yea...I wouldnt call it an big issue.

    Your UI could use some improvements. Make it more appealing. Also you could add rotating camera, to give a nice touch to the battle. You should take a look at voliars revenge and there was some other one who had really cool UI and samekind of system. Alltought It had a nice different feeling when you had to choose the tects and you had icons on them (most only have text).

    I have played chrono trigger and the system is good for SINGLE player. Im not quite sure if average bnet user can/wants to use combined attacks. It wasnt all that clear to me how you combined the attacks and was that action bar really useful? (I guess its a nice addition to multiplayer).

    Well I dont want to sound all negative. You got some things right. The battle skills looked really good, they seem to be really top notch and fun to watch. The stone zealot coming from the ground was truly epic :).

    I think its a good start for a project. It atleast looks better to me than facility 17 (which was quite popular for some time). So keep up the good work. If you need testers Im happy to help on EU servers.

    Iv been working like 10h with movers and stuff and still havent gotten anything useful (God I hate movers)....

    I guess there is a limit how much you can do with the effects and animations given...So if you got any ideas you should post them. I might not be able to make them, but maybe they help me out figure out something new.

    I still have managed to make 2 mins for CH3, but I would say its about half finished so I need like 2-3mins more...

    Summary:

    • Tried doing abilities, failed and need ideas!

    lol I wonder what striked me now...I managed to gather my toughts together and Im quite happy with the results...hoping to get CH3 done in couple of days...
