It might be Possible by adding some things to the Actor of the unit. And making it possible for the Ability to walk meanwhile, there should be a flag for it to make it that way. I don't know realy how to find Movement in the Actor, will look into it.
From what I've tried it is impossible to use Cinematics - Fade in/out for one player.
I've tried putting 1 player into a player group and tried to fade out for that player group.
The only way I think to fade out 1 person is to make a black.tga image file.
Import it into sc2editor and put the image file in a full screen dialog.
Then use: Dialog - Fade Dialog Item Transparency on that image.
U can pick any player to with that Action.
I'm not that good at triggering but this is my solution =3.
Thx, btw got some screenshots at http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/protoss-rpg/ and I'm not doing a WASD key movement. I think I'm just doin the click movement with automatic camera turning =3.
I'm currently working on my 3rd person RPG. Terrain almost done, working on the triggers for quests, data save and bosses. This will hopefully be my first released map and I hope it will be a good one(doubt it but...). I got one other Idea for further development. The Idea is to save all data, from exp to class into banks and use it for other maps. In those other maps will be raids that use your class and level. So this won't take space in my normal RPG lvlish map. Give me your thoughts about it and say if u like it or not. Every feedback helps from bad to good.
srry that I complain a little but i've been playing the old version of Smashcraft a few times. There seems to be more and more people coming to play Smashcraft. But when I read the "Smashcraft" channel it seems that many players are asking if the new SmashCraft 2.0 is available. Since we are eager to play the new version I ask does Frunck(I think this is the guy who uploads on EU) still upload the new version today? I don't wanna complain to much but we r kinda waiting for it =3.
I kinda already know this, but is using a Dialog Item Variable the only way to put more than 50 buttons in one dialog shown 1 by one? Or are there better ways to save buttons at the start of the game and use them for later?
I'm workin om my RPG (My Rpg don't realy have a name for it yet) and I have a question.
I've just started working with the SC2 Editor done some triggering and data editing and seems to go all fine...
But I was wondering what the best way is to make a Dialog and use it over and over again but then with other buttons.
Little Example:
"If you click on quest giver 1 the Quest dialog will show with buttons 1-3.
When you click on quest giver 2 the same Quest dialog will show but then with buttons 4-6."
What is the best way to make that happen with the least lag, because there are gonna be several quest givers around and I will have to make loads of dialogs. I've seen some things with records but I don't know if that is the solution.
Blocking / Slowing won't be realy possible. Most of the map will be covered in black with floodlights(one negative thing if I'm corect the low game settings players won't be able to play it...). The mayor machanic of this game would be hiding, kinda like doodad hunt but without the doodads and with darkness( loads of it).
