Mods can only be 10MB as well and atm you can only have a total of 5 maps/mods per character, and if you wanted a map with all custom models, you would be using all of those 5 files for mods with custom models.
But like what zifoon said, I seriously doubt the restrictions will be the same after game release.
I modded an old warcraft 3 importer and exported some old Warcraft 3 models into SC2. They look pretty bad compared to their new models but it was fun to do :D. Check it out
Thanks to Philip Laing who originally scripted the mdx importer/exporter for 3ds max way back in 2002, and BlinkBoy from TheHiveWorkshop for some animation tips. Without them I could not have done this nearly as quick.
Just wanted to show off the new animation support I'm setting up for the next update of the M3 exporter.

i love you.
That's hot! Will you marry me?
Or even better:
Will you please release it faster? D:
Yay!
yes... one step closer to fully customised maps. Only if mapping communities had good modeler to coder ratio. x_x
But looking at the current map size limits... it might be better to have a lot of coders than to have a lot of soon-to-be-disappointed modelers. :/
hahah I hear that.
Hopefully we only got 10MB because it's only beta. Also it's possible blizzard will have more storage option with payment.
Is that inclusive of mods? because you can import stuff into mods and use them in your map but they just don't show up on the import manager
AWESOME, I can't wait when you release new version of m3 plugin. Good job. Keep it up. :)

If they make it so we have to pay for extra space then I'm already done with this game. The popularity shit is bad enough without that.

At least someone cares about users := .
