Looks great except for the 'flame eyes', which are kind of silly.
Argh, flame eyes are from original -_-
Ariel Hanson too has flame eyes, but less brightness

Yes it is. In a competitive game such as SC2. For example, some alert that make itself more noticeable to you (under attack, research completed) than normal ppl do, its cheating. If i want to cheat, i would change the voice file that nydus worm pop up/nuke launch to be louder, all unit mumble nothing more than their name, cloaking unit attack/cloak effects sounds more noticeable, etc...
There are no more volume, no new words, no new Advisor's replies, no less replies. SAME words, SAME replies, other voice.

Hmm, there is a *slight* difference between hacks and changing files (login screen, sound files, language files, or even textures) which doesn't affect multiplayer games at all. It indeed violates the EULA, but doesn't harm other players' experience and doesn't give you any advantage.
i like modding around with the UI and for me i wasn't cheating to change the adivsor voices... why the hell should this be a cheat? Well the decision is up to Blizzard and i hope they don't ban people for personalize there SC2 version. Well it's hacking in a way. It's modifing.... but no one get's hurt by it. Really... no one. Even Blizzard doesn't get hurt (you still have to buy the game at all oO)
I like the alternativ loading screen... sadly the author doesn't want his picture to be displayed like this... but i can understand him. Did you maybe thought about simply releasing the zergish "frame" to everyone? - So everyone can put a picture he prevers in.
I by the way would be happy to get a PM from you. ;)
I'd like to point out that as of this moment, editing the MPQ in any way to my understanding from conversations I've had with developers is a red flag for banning possibility. They monitor all files for adjustments occurring on the fly while the game is launched, thus the reason Quantam (creator of MPQ2k) has not bothered to update his program to create self executing MPQs. There was another thread in SC: Legacy about modding sound files, the download for the sound files was removed as soon as they also received confirmation that adjusting the MPQ's audio is also a possibility for banning as of this time. Again, I'm not saying don't do it or that it's a for sure situation, only that it will spark flags at this time.

Strange...I wonder what's Blizzard's reasoning for this...

Cheating, most likely. Imagine the clear advantage if you retexture all units to something more vibrant for Zerg, color coat them, and downgrade the creep's saturation. This would all be done through the MPQ, technically not harming others or affecting their gameplay, strategy, etc, but obviously giving you an advantage visually.

the problem is, blizzard is unable to check whether you've just replaced a loading screen or another texture which actually gives you an advantage. old topic. maybe cheat is the wrong word for this but it is a hack you may get banned for. like any other mpq hack.
Apparently this was just released by Blizzard today:
Blizzard Entertainment has always taken cheating in any form in Blizzard games very seriously, and that's no different for StarCraft II. If a StarCraft II player is found to be cheating or using hacks or modifications in any form, then as outlined in our end user license agreement, that player can be permanently banned from the game. This means that the player will be permanently unable to log in to Battle.net to play StarCraft II with his or her account.
Playing StarCraft II legitimately means playing with an unaltered game client. Doing otherwise violates our policies for Battle.net, and it goes against the spirit of fair play that all of our games are based on. We strongly recommend that you avoid using any hacks, cheats, or exploits. Suspensions and bans of players that have used or start using cheats and hacks will begin in the near future.
Not to be a killjoy, but this thread to begin with is nothing new in terms of how to do mod the game, so I would highly suggest removing this from the front page since most people will never read this thread that only view the front page.

It would probably go something like this:
1. A player is accused of cheating. He wasn't but this player replaced his loading screen sometime.
2. Blizzard have their Warden program check on the player.
3. Warden does a checksum on the MPQs. Uh-oh! They don't match!
4. BOOM! Banned.
so is it possible to make a ban computer? i mean, we're all assuming that we play off only one computer. but sometimes, i got to my friends house and play it on his computer. what if he has a modified MPQ on his computer and i play it? does that instantly red-flag my account? lets say i had a secondary computer with an MPQ rigged with every cheat and advantage hack known to the SC2 world and let some fool play on it without him even knowing, would that instantly ban them? checksums aren't just a blind comparison of an assortment of numbers, it can tell you which section doesnt match, or if it really is only the intro that was changed, for the purpose of documenting each type of hack out there. a Local install of SC2 isn't specific to anybodies account, so if you wanna change it and play offline, do so for all you want. you could even have two separate installs on your computer, or split between two computers. i'm not implying to make a separate cheat computer, but if you wanna experiment with friendly hacks, like wallpapers, or voice changes, and other such things, i'd recommend a second installation. you don't even have to re-download the client, just copy-pasta the whole folder. Just don't play online, or feel free to bet that account on it.
Every [unofficial] cheat is a hack, but not every hack is a cheat.

Replacing Advisor's voice dont give you advatanges. Cheats gives you advatanges/more wins/more recources/units/maphacks/etc. See different?

Nice!
Awesome Art, would never change an MPQ file as warden uses checksum values and arbitrarily bans you.
Yes its against the TOS, you can argue that it shouldn't be, but you cant say it isn't, because it is.
