Im New here and since 2 Years i have some ideas for a own campaign. In 2010 it was not possible to link maps together to create a own campaign and now, 2 years later i want to ask if it is possible now?
It's possible to link them in a way that, when you finish one map, it'll automatically load up the next one for you. But there's still no way to fuse em into one file, like how custom Campaigns work in Warcraft 3.
Thank you very much for your answer! Cool thing, the fusing i guess, will be a rar.archieve when the campaign is finished :D Oh man, they have to get rid of this uncomfortable method :-/
If its not to much to do, could you explain, how to link the maps together? I think this is realized with paths on the HDD to the next map, is it? If yes, how do i avoid that the players that downloaded the campaign get problems with paths?
To link to other maps you've to use the set next map function. The linked map should be in the folder Starcraft II/Maps. But this function only works offline.
