    Hi DEFILERRULEZ!

    Im so sorry about that, but our BETA is not open yet. In a few weeks, we and you will know more. We just uploaded the map to make some tests, seems like you had big luck, finding the Map in Arcade-Mode, because we had it online for only 3 hours or something!

    If you are still interested (and all others of course too!!!) then we would be glad to recruit some of you cool guys for a Betatest in a few weeks!

    posted a message on Giving a map a soundtrack? Sound questions

    Hey man!

    Im pretty new here too, so i dont know if my feedback is that helpful. The big question is: Have you done own Soundtracks, that are not included in the game, or do you want to use the stock Soundtracks in your Areas?

    If you plan to make a own Soundtrack, here is a incomplete List of what you have to do due my knowledge in the Editor is not much, because im starting to map right now.

    - Have Soundtracks as wav. mp3. files - Import those in the Import-Editor - Press the save Button - Go to Data-Editor and create new sound and link it to your specified sound-file - Now you can Trigger that Sound using a Region or a Point

    I hope i could give you a litte overview :)

    Ah thank you! now i got it! Thank you very much! But how can i increase the Degree by +1 steps? the only value i can set is a number without a + in front of it.

    Does anyone know if there are planet-animations or movies of Planets in stock in SC2? I have to play a movie in a Dialog to go further. Does anyone have Answers to this?

    Okay, but Variables are very new for me, so i guess i cant follow your instructions :-( Damn. I dont see any connection to the "random-factor" in your Trigger. Can maybe anyone else explain this for me to understand?

    Hello my Friends!

    im currently working on a Campaign called Hendrik's Diaries. And as soon as i started to work, Problems occured :-) So i have 2 Questions to you, i hope you can help me with getting this to work.

    Problem 1: I want to make a Camera rotating around a fixed point in a specified angle, radius, distance and movement Speed.

    To descibe the situation more accurate i have drawn this image:

    • The green thing is the camera
    • The red dot represents the Unit / Part of the Map i want to view
    • The black dotted line is the Distance
    • and the blue circle should represent the Waypoints for the Camera

    So do you have any idea to make this work?

    Problem 2:

    I have created a Region with a lot of Colonists / Civilians in it. I want to make the Map more living by giving them random points to move from time to time. I thought is solve this problem by the following. Select every unit in Region and do Action: Move to a Random Point in Region. Now every unit gets the order to move to the same point. How can i select only random 20 units out of 100 or something to do the move-command?

    Thank you very much for your answer! Cool thing, the fusing i guess, will be a rar.archieve when the campaign is finished :D Oh man, they have to get rid of this uncomfortable method :-/

    If its not to much to do, could you explain, how to link the maps together? I think this is realized with paths on the HDD to the next map, is it? If yes, how do i avoid that the players that downloaded the campaign get problems with paths?
