In game Star Battle if host creates privet game, sets it to FFA and then makes it public, players are put in groups by there rank (or experience, Im not sure). That way groups are more or less equal. This would be a great feature I think.
Come on people... What happens with the stats in the game?? I try hard to get points and than I lose my stats... Twice already!! Please fix it or the game becomes pointless to me.

This map has some potential, but at this state - balance is atrocious piece of shit.
Especially when it comes down to regeneration packs and abuse of distance.
Play some battleships for crying out loud.
Features that need refabrishing and rebalancing:
-Health-packs should be only be available when 5-6 seconds out of battle. Not while inside of it. And if they are - make them slowly regen like tango, or drop regeneration if damage received like potions (DOTA)
-Add ability to sell tank in general for 50-60% of initial cost so players would be able to buy cheap tank and rush towards buying point.
-Remove Goliath as first vehicle available and leave only basic tank - learn from battleships - 1 and only 1 type of vessel available for you at the beginning if you are not planning to add trading/mining operations (battleships X). Players can choose to upgrade it later.
-Add more in-between units to smooth up process of leveling up your vehicle
-Either remove all invis completely, along with blinking. If you still too eager to leave invis - suit yourself - it breaks balance to shit. Either make it like rikki with 3 sec out of battle only fade (loose invis on attack, can't go invis until 3 sec out of battle) or add scanners, yet it's still a huge stinking balance breaker. Just throw that shit away.
Graphical revising:
-Remove top turrets from tanks which don't have self abilities-attacks which use them (like laser tank) replacing them with small versions of bunker.
-Cull down unnecessary scenery to optimize performance inside of heavy battles.
So far - this map comparing to wc3 battleships is a mediocre clone of them. Just like original battletanks from wc3. And yes i know that battleships were after, but still - it feels like battleships had far more superior balance and smoother player progression, as opposed to chunky and retarded broken progression of tank battle.
There's still the huge issue where the bunker in the southern lane, for the southern base, gets destroyed easily because hydralisks can attack from behind the trees without being seen.

I think in many points we simply dont have the same opinion. Some features you dont like worked quite well for me in battleships. Like cloaking (submarines) or instant healthpacks. Only one starting vehicle is an option I considered many times but never found a solution that I really liked.And what would be the benefit of selling a tank for 50-60%?? its already possible!?
Graphical tweaks: I'm not that experienced in data editing to modify the models like that. And I never had performance problems because of too many... trees or barrels. The sc2 engine really isnt that fancy that you have to worry about performance.. on an average PC of course :-D ...my opinion.

It's a known bug. Until fixed just don't put lasers on the ground.

Yes. It happens every time.
Hm I cant reproduce this behaviour.... (which laser? Every or just the higher tiers? not the same behaviour for other weapons like vulture gatling?)
So you have a laser in your inventory and simply drop it to the ground (right click and left click on target location? And it disappears???
Have a look at the burst lasers first. Those ones disappear.

ufff...... so only combined items in late game? no problems with other items and earlier? I have no idea at the moment...
Sometimes, very rarely, repair kits are "consumed" upon being used meaning you get health but the kit vanishes from inventory.
To Laser Tank changes: I think it is in line with other tanks now of that tier now.

I can confirm that repair kits 3 & 4 sometimes disappear after use. It sometimes disappears a few seconds after use.
Although, that, and the issue of burst lasers (and other combination items) disappearing when dropped, are 2 separate bugs

yeah, havent had this issue with non-combined items (yet?)
- it's still possible to target the laser of the Laser Tank with right click, I think the targets were troops from a player who left
- said troops also prevent capturing of outposts.
I don`t know if intended or not but for me it feels wrong.

Or how about tutnets have 10% of there max live and there max damage per average tank lv so they woud be realy easy to kill

in between units like more npc troops? Good idea. Needs a bit more rework of the current mechanisms though, but I also thought of it before.
