So, I was discussing this with my friend the other day. There are cycles of water, carbon, carbondioxide, etc, but is there a cycle of energy as well? As in one process takes away energy while another releases it again? Or is 'energy' much more complex than that?
Well, conservation of energy doesn't always apply to everything. Virtual particles pop in and out of existence, but for practical purposes, no energy is ever created or destroyed.
Conservation of energy relates to more efficient uses of smaller amounts of energy to gain an equivalent output that we can perceive, not the creation or destruction of energy.
This was sad, you were never taught physics? Even Newton's 3rd law answers your question.
If energy would be created from nothing, that would be almost equal to prove there is a god. (thats why the whole question sounds even retarded for me)

Energy is never created or destroyed it can only be transformed from one form to the other; the energy principle, so yes it is a cycle too. (AFAIK)
SheogorathSC, nothing is ever created or Destroyed, Its always Re-formed.
Everything is a cycle
Energy's cycle is simple, It is collected, Released, and Collected by something else.

Indeed, but on the other hand i didn't say so either, only implied it :)

Thanks for all the feedback, didn't expect that much.
And, hey, you've finally gotten a GIF! :D

Sorry... O.o
@Trokka: Go
I understand that. I was just being pedantic, as is my nature.
@Neonsz: Go
I know. It's wonderful, isn't it?
