I am pretty confident that a camera controlled smoothly with the mouse would be very challenging for a computer. So many triggers if you want it to be 'smooth'
I remember installing a program once that allowed you to buy and play games on a dedicated server, without actually installing them, but by sending a command to a server somewhere, and it sent back the image of what would happen. It was of course legal. I just don't remember what the software was called, so I was wondering if any of you guys do?
Go data and use a search behavior that applies an invisible buff if it finds specified unit. Then do a trigger that checks for that behavior in a unit with a periodic event? I'm guessing that would be less intensive, trigger-wise.
Go to the Actors tab in the data editor and doubleclick the "events+" field. They kind of work like triggers, meaning that they need an event and an action for that event. So to make a pink archon, you'd need to make an event called "unit birth" and an action under that called "set tint color".
Right, I'm trying to modify the warpgate train ability, so that it does not require the player to mark where the unit will be warped in, it'll just warp it in at a specific location. Is this possible?

I used to make maps for fun in the editor a while back, but I stopped as I found new interests. I stopped playing SC2, and haven't bought the HotS...
Now my question is - has the editor changed with the release of HotS, and just how much new material is in the 2nd chapter?
EDIT: Oh yea, and how is the forum doing?

Go create a model, experiment - go create an actor, experiment

I think you have to create specific actors and units for each player.

Cover system would require you to implement an entire physics system I think. I believe that's rather difficult ^o^

How much skill and experience are you looking for in a dialog editor? I'd love to join, but I can't brag about LOADS of experience with dialogs.

Yes, but I'd guess that mercs are just spawned "on top" of the building?

Alright. The next question would be: how? ^^
