I have "merged "my Mapster account with Twitch which is advertised as not changing anything existing with the merged Mapster account. Now all my old activity is gone and my username is different. As you can see, it has randomly made me Jayborino40834 - any mapster staff able to help out?
Why do the login options keep changing? At least the previous iteration allowed you to just avoid it. I get that it likely has to do with Curse and Twitch/Amazon in some fashion, but it needs to work as intended.
I just merged it as well... and I like how in the faq about the merge it says the benefits of that is just not having to remember 2 passwords... To me it's just making it riskier by having many sites linked with the same password, but thats my point of view.
(As of writing this I also want to see if my username changed and posts count...)

To clarify then, my original Mapster account cannot be merged or used again because I've used two different e-mail addresses between two different sites? This seems like a very elementary/common thing. Is there really no administrative process via Curse or someone I could reach out to?
I'll just use the new account, but my PM's are gone and people may try to message my old account.
Once merged you need to log in using twitch since the accounts are now one and the same and it seems they are trying to phase out the SC2mapster accounts.

I appear to only have one account now. I submitted my ticket through the CurseForge site and an admin took care of it pretty quickly.

I have merged accounts aswell and it seems all to be intact.
I guess I may just aswell use that twitch account now for ESL watching then.
I must say I agree with SCbroodsc2.
