I can't for the love of god figure out how to play maps I download from this site on b.net, first of all I don't even know where to put them, but have put them meanwhile in users/docu/sc2/maps, where the cloudcache is located. But I can't fire em up on b.net, so I'm stuck with playing all the old versions all the time when I just want to go here to grab the latest one and seed it on b.net to increase popularity. There sure are ups and downs of this system.
Also, when trying to play around with GE I couldn't find any of the standard maps to fire up and look around and learn, since they're all just cloudcached I couldn't find a single one =/

By clicking Create Game you go straight to the cloudserver where all the popular maps are listed, and the one I downloaded just now from this site for example, isn't there.
Sadly, I think you will have to scroll through all the maps to find it and unfortunately no one will join. This is a flaw in the B.net system as of now. If I'm wrong, please correct me, I would really like to play some cool maps.
Ah, you're downloading it from here... Gotcha... The only way to play a map downloaded from here on Battle.net is through MapCraft, unfortunately. Otherwise you can play them in single player.
I've been reading through this and trying to follow along but as soon as i click test document the map editor minimizes and nothing happens. what am i doing wrong?
I also tried using the battle net tab from file>open>battle.net and then i login in and just get a list of maps and i dont see the one i downloaded (or let alone even know were i downloaded it to) and even when i click any random map is just opens in the window to the right and there nothing to play its just as if i was trying to edit it. im so clueless. sorry if this is frustrating but im new to this so any help will be appreciated.

As far as opening maps from Bnet in GE, click File > Open, then click the Battle.net tab.

So I got it to work finally, Thanks! lol now my problem is how do I get to play on these maps with other people?
