Heres a little advice. Dont play 4v4. EVER. I tried it as soon as I could log on and 3/4 of the game was stonewall lag. 3 people ended up dropping and I couldnt see my minimap. Im surprised we came out with victory in that match.
Something is extremely wonky in the patch with regards to latency. I suspect that they messed stuff up while adding UDP support in the latest patch. 4v4s and 3v3s are almost unplayable, out of 5 or so matches only 1 didn't have SERIOUS lag issues. Even 1v1s appear to suffer from this issue.
Obviously it's a beta/server issue, it'll be fixed soon enough. The real question is whether or not mapmakers will be able to disable the delay on player inputs taking effect on your screen when there's lag - otherwise action maps could be totally ruined by even a little big of battle.net lag.
