The site is not "active" because most of the developers left years ago for other things. Though, there are still posts within every hour, so it's still alive here, just not what it might have been years ago.
If you mean that overview of planned revamps for curses modding platforms after it's acquisition by twitch then It doesn't really seem to hype-worthy. Not until it hits us directly anyway :/
Again, by "alive" i mean people making this site .. not users "using" the site. i meant people who own the site and are treating it like a mailbox getting filled.. and nothing more (and YES a lot could be done!!! free and ez)

i'm sure lots of people want to make this site better.. now even moz (who tried for years) has stopped...

ok :/ so i left out the worst part.. ask again if you are curious (right now i'm updating my current map and am going to test it with the new patch (much wow suspence) .. and i feel like i'm pissing on everyone's parade possibly from the wait :/ so i'm too sensitive and involved to allow myself to go on further.. but there is more!
Edit: anyone else hate my avatar gif? it was supposed to be cool and now i cant stand it ahahahahhaha.. i like it but (besides the sketch/poor quality aspect) i smile widely at myself, i wanted to have the hero attack .. but i obviously didn't think of the "endlessly repeat" factor in this .. hahahahahhaha.. looks like an angry dude who can't stop attacking .. come to think of it .. :D seems at least it is an honest reflection :D
Unfortunately, I have been busy with life. Working full time, married, attending grad school in the evenings, and most importantly: haven't been employed by Curse in 4 years. When you see me post announcements, it's done in the little spare time I have, which is why they have been sparse as of late. :(.
Am i the only one thinking there should be an announcement done ???
Even if it is a sub par "communique" that would still be late but good PR ???
Or am i just "self entitled"?

I only refer to a message from Curse long ago, saying that they plan to redo sc2mapster but they said too that it is not a priority.

.. that we (as mapster users) use galaxy and exchange with it on mapster means we would like this site to be ALIVE
