I was deleting the Zoom parameters, but they don't stay deleted. I was looking at the single player map that was made, and under the "Default Camera", the Zoom Parameters are completely deleted. On mine, I remove the parameters with the red X, go elsewhere, and when I open the data screen again, it says that all the parameters are there, just disabled.

On Zoom Levels-Modify, They are all disabled, and on Zoom Levels-Values, all at 0. I just don't know if it has the same effect.
About the custom value 0 being the height;
You will have to specifically give the unit that custom value to get the system to work.
For example: I've set the Zerglings to have 0.5 height in the test map - it seems pretty realistic.
To answer your last post: You should press Delete (or the red button you were talking about) on those zoom levels to remove them completely, otherwise the player will be able to zoom out and it will be ugly ;)
If they don't stay deleted, perhaps save the map after you've deleted them, then reload the map.

Yes, it's possible to make a top-down shooter. You just gotta play around with the camera triggers a bit :)

Right...I keep trying :(. Pressing delete gives me a little beep sound, and using the red X either gives me a "disabled" listing or puts the values at 0. Do you think you could possibly take a look at it and see what's wrong? I did it right one time, and the Galaxy Editor quit out on me and I lost everything :/
But it keeps showing up, and it's killing me. I tried saving and reloading, but it won't get rid of the parameters explicitly like yours did. They're all still there, just disabled and set to 0.
Cannot download library please help this looks so cool if you can attach in email and send to [email protected] i got the first two but the library sends me to a page of text
Never mind, I got it working, it was an administrator error issue. I have another question: where do we find the custom value to set the units at, for weapons targeting? I think I went to the wrong height, because when I changed it, the zerglings were off the ground. Where do we go to set the custom value for the unit?
hmm The zergling in this demo map have a very very low line of sight to which they aggro the player. Anyone know how to increase that line of sight so you don't have to run literally next to them before they aggro you?
I don't see this as a problem, 'cause if I would make a TPS map it would probably have scripted events that make units attack the player.
But I have no idea how to actually change their acquisition range.
Is there a way to make it so you can make the TPS an option? E.g.
Select a unit and press a button in a dialog to take control of selected unit, and then press another button to return to normal RTS view when your done?
[bump] is there a way to make a top down shooter were the camera follows a unit and zooms and out with the scroll thing on the mouse
@HierarchArtanis: Go
And by "Remove zoom level", when I go back they are all there, it just says "disabled". Is that what it should look like?
um what??

@HierarchArtanis:
That's really weird. You could send me the map so I could check if it's something I can fix. Perhaps it's an editor bug.

The units can have custom values. Add a trigger called Set Custom value of Unit, and set the custom value 0 to the height of the specific unit.
So what about my little question?

@K89Slavik:
Ofcourse there's a way. You'll have to mix with the camera options a bit, and ofcourse disable the TPS controls when not in TPS mode.

is there a way to make the game with missiles instead of tracelines.
@eilgaard:
Yes.
Hi. That Libraries are for One player or for Multiplayer?
PS: How can I change all that to can damage another player units?
