That appears to be the problem, they are using the default ones by blizzard. Now for another noob question... how do I change the footprints for the resources to solve this? Last time I did that was in 2010 and I dont remember now >.<
I've been working on this particular issue for a couple of hours and my brain has turned to mush and am wondering if someone can point out where I am going wrong or what im missing.
I am trying to make minerals (and their rich variant) and the vespene geyser buildable (like any base building) via the SCV, Probe and Drone build abilities for a sandbox map I am working on after someone suggested it to me. I have managed to get it all the way to the builder unit card menu however when i try to actually place the mineral or geyser ingame it says the location is invalid.
Is it something obvious im missing? Any advice or solutions to this would be greatly appreciated as i've hit a wall.
Just so you are aware, ive started making a map called CnC: Tiberium Flux, still pre-alpha stages atm and very much in its infancy however once everything is done and out of beta (probably talking months down the line here), I do have plans to begin an actual full on CnC mod project for SC2 based of the map (which is using standard SC2 models, no way you could make custom models for all the CnC3 units and stick em in a map lol).
There is some private testing going on every now and then, and so far with the people ive been testing with its been relatively well recieved.
Glad you like my idea, but i dont feel it is my place to make an
'Official' group for sc2mapster, since if i make it, i cant transfer
ownership of that group to Vjeux or one of the many moderators.
I could make an unofficial group but that just seems a bit pointless if
an official one was to be created (which now that you are aware of the
option is entirely possible).
Upto you guys. :) If you want me to make an official one then I will do,
but only with your express consent.
Best Regards,
I wasn't aware that you couldn't transfer the owner... Hrm... I'll PM
you when we figure it out, ;).
No worries, you could just get steam, register an account and create your group, it is free and the simplest solution i can think of :P
I don't play any Valve games, really. Though, when DotA comes out, i'll
have to get it... If you want to make the group, go for it.

Here is a simple step by step guide on how to change weapon damage:
1. Open your data editor and go to the weapon you want to alter (E,g, Zealot - Psi Blades).
2. Click on that weapon and go down to the 'Effects' area.
3. Find the effect with (damage) (E.g. Zealot - Psi Blades (Damage)) at the end of it, and open it up.
4. Alter the field called "Amount" (aka 'Combat - Amount) in the effect to alter the damage.
Hope that helps!
Best Regards,
Go to your dependicies and select the "Liberty Story (Campaign)" dependency, and move it to the top of your Dependency list via the lil blue up arrow. Once done, save your map and it should fix the problem as long as that dependency remains at the top.
Some sort of bug with the editor depencies id say.
Dont know if you guys use or know of Steam, but you can create 'Groups' which can be used to advertise your community/clan/team (etc) through. You guys should consider making an official 'Steam Group', id certainly join it :).
Is there a way to make it so you can make the TPS an option? E.g.
Select a unit and press a button in a dialog to take control of selected unit, and then press another button to return to normal RTS view when your done?

www.tiberiumflux.com is the site for this project.
Best Regards,
Ps. CnC4 was utter sinful and its pretty much upto us CnCers to make up for that utter fail lol.

Isnt that part of the lurker burrow ability/button?
All you should need to do 'Theoretically' is edit the tooltip and hotkey stuff in the data editor for the lurker's ability and/or button.
Dont know if thats entirely accurate but worth a shot I think :)
