You can change the model of the actor, OR change the model of the...model o.0; rofl,
go to Models, and search for "Mineral Field", you can change it to the model you wish =)
I would recommend not just changing the model within the model due to the actor doing funky things to the fields.
Whoops, forgot about this thread. I opened your map, it's the same thing for me. I go ingame, the minerals are still minerals. What are you talking about?
very interesting, just wondering, are you testing map with the editor or battle.net?
Next, do they look like minerals in the editor as well as in game?
also: would anyone else try this map out, see if this problem can be duplicated.
I'm US too, and I'm pretty sure nothing weird happened to my install. Another weird thing I've noticed is that the preview window in my editor now shows units, structures, and doodads as white or black silhouettes. Wtf?

Yeah thats an error, Post on the official beta forums. Update all your drivers, and give it a good re-install. see what happens.

I'm not that stupid lol
I've tried everything you guys have mentioned, nothing works. Minerals are still Minerals.
@SystemSe7en:
Worked for me? step by step what are you clicking?
@Molsterr: Go
Data > Units > Melee > Resources > Mineral Field > Actor: Mineral Field > Model > Aiur Tree
Or directly to the model and changing it to a tree.
Should work, here, ill upload this map for you, and give you a step by step of what i did (tho it seems like we did same thing)
Data editor> Units > search field = mineral > click mineral field > at bottom clicked its actor> then on right (as seen in pic) changed the 3 models
let me know if you get it to work

The map works.
Thank you for testing it. So it seems that its something on your side. very odd indeed.
@Molsterr: Go
This has to be the oddest thing ever.
It appears as minerals in the editor, and in game.
Are you US or EU?
@SystemSe7en: Go
US, not sure what bliztar is tho. but still, that shouldn't effect a graphic change, very very odd indeed.

just reinstall the game, it should help but make a backup of your maps first! $)

Okay I reinstalled, same problem. :(
I can change Pylons into trees, but for some reason Minerals don't change.
@SystemSe7en: Go
As much as I hate to do it, bump.
Could someone please try to make the mineral field into a tree, and tell me what happens?
worked fine for me, i just went, Actors/Mineral Field/Model/Alur Tree. and the tree appeared on my map.
@ch0j1n: Go
This is so weird. This happens with all of my resource units.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
