So im working on a map (big surprise) and i want to have an event where if the player/s do some thing they get a reward of a unit joining them as a sort of thanks.
The idea is that the map is a sort of orbital defence of a planet, some transport ships get caught by the Zerg and IF you save them, the player/s get a reward.
For Terran players im thinking some thing like ether 2 - 3 of the merc BCs or 1 - 2 Lokies, i would like an opinion on this because if i get the map to work, the players will need the extra fire power.
That just leaves the Protoss, im looking at the SS carrier boss unit but i dont know any thing about it just that its a much larger carrier, so could any one give me any feedback on what would probably work best?
Oh and im going to try and add the Void Seeker as a unit for the Prtoss, any comments on that one?
Unit with ss_ prefix in their name is normally used for campaign object unit, which dont have health/damage or many thing like normal unit. They're all default unselectable, unhighlitable and dont have a move ability. You can add all of them in to make them work.
ss_carrier_boss is the first boss in the Lost Viking map. You can find it in the data editor. Start the search with "ss_"
Fun fact, ss_fighter is your viking unit. It has 2 abilities, 1 that shoot missile forward, dealing 1 damage each to enemy unit. The other is the bomb abilities, dealing 20 damage each. If you add a move abilities for it, it can move but cannot turn.

I was using the campaign/story units b4 and every thing on a NEW map, and now every one of them is invisiable and i cant place any new ones, i can only place normal units and buildings.
This is not the first time its happened to me, how can i fix this?
Now another question, for the SS carrier, if i can make it into a useable unit, because its so big i would think that it would be able to have more fighters, but how many would be good?
Would 12 be too many or just right?
Also seeing as how the BC has the Yomato and the missile pods and the defence maytrix, what kind of upgrades should the carrier get to sort or balance it out?

So i cant even find the SS Carier Boss in the data yet i can place it in the map editor.
From what im seeing, i cant select it or any thing, could some one tell me what i need to do to make it selectable.
So what are the units with the SS in front of the name any ways?
I dont have the editor available right now but I thought all the ss units were from the lost viking minigame.

Could any one tell me where or how i could go about editing them into real units or is that just some thing that cant be done?

Cool, but i now have a ...... small problem.
