hi I'm new here and I've been playing starcraft and I would like to create maps, in fact I have planned as a mini series or something like that and have been following this site that has tutorials very detailed and some other simple.
but here the problem
I'm doing doodads of the protoss buildings (robotics facility, robotic bay, fleet beacon), but can not get on how to make work the animations
excuse me but English is not my primary language :)
Edit: When I say on the animations, I mean the animations when building a units or when are researching.
I've done in how to operate in units (well, in some) here a picture of the miners and the MULE
that is how I did with the miner and the mule, in fact the animations of the units work well, but I try to do the same with the buildings and I dont get how to make animations of construction or research work.
Under the model previewer you can see what animations a model has (some have different names). Under the events of the actor you can use the AnimPlay or AnimGroupApply actions to do the various animations. Alot of the protoss buildings use Event Macro actors to suplement their events so maybe what you want is there.

i would recomend using an existing building then just changing the model of it to what ever it is that you want it to be, thats just my guess
