im trying to make a mech soldier, probably going to use raynor and then let him transform into the assault mode of the viking, Ive tried this with a reg. marine and there are 2 major problems that arise. !) The unit actually does transform :) but, the model "duplicates", meaning that when the viking moves, its almost like there are 2 vikings moving.. 2) I cannot get the viking to transform back into a soldier. Ive made duplicates of the marine, and assault mode for the viking (along with its abilitities), to make sure they are completely "new" units. I tried changing the animation on the viking from Assault to Flyer to Assault to Marine, but it didnt work. Any ideas on what im missing? Oh, and when the marine transforms, you can actually see his legs inbetween the vkinings, so his model doesnt disappear during the transformation. hope you guys can help.
I had this same problem when I tried to have a MULE upgrade into a better unit.
The only way i could fix it was using triggers which deletes hero stats... if it doesn't need to level or anything just set a trigger to kill "unit" and replace with "unit"
