ok, i think I saw one of your creations, how do can I access the site operations, and is there a tut. on the basic functions of it? that seems to be the best way for me
ive looked and ive looked, Ive seen people, even on here, make entirely custom models. Im not talking about importing wow ,scaling or duplicating a marine, im talking about making a viking have a zerg spore colony cannon and the zerg calvary, Is there a tut. on this? I cannot find it and some links just give me a 404 error. Any help would be nice.
I just used a quick workaround, instead of adding supply to make the max 210,220, etc, I made the units themselves cost less supply, but this doesnt really solve the distribution of supplys once a player leaves
Comment: just hit me up if Im online, I will test maps on 1 condition, that my ideas on making the map better, more appealing, etc are taken seriously and that I may change these things apon your permission. I love fiddling around, not good at triggers, but good at balancing and knowing when it could be better. I love maps like nexus wars, phantom maps and just neat games.
You can add lots of minerals etc, just duplicate minerals and change models and name. It looks like ^ is correct though, you can only have a max of 4 types of resources, but I dont see why you cant edit the name of what you are gathering thats in the top right of the player.
Try this, when you load your dependencies, make sure you load both campaign dependencies and make sure they are the first ones loaded by clicking the arrow up button next to the delete key. Also, if your map crashes due to this, just start a new map, load the dependencies like I mentioned, then set a few heros, save exit come back and see if they are there. If they are, then you will probably have to scrap the previous map you where working on.
im trying to make a mech soldier, probably going to use raynor and then let him transform into the assault mode of the viking, Ive tried this with a reg. marine and there are 2 major problems that arise. !) The unit actually does transform :) but, the model "duplicates", meaning that when the viking moves, its almost like there are 2 vikings moving.. 2) I cannot get the viking to transform back into a soldier. Ive made duplicates of the marine, and assault mode for the viking (along with its abilitities), to make sure they are completely "new" units. I tried changing the animation on the viking from Assault to Flyer to Assault to Marine, but it didnt work. Any ideas on what im missing? Oh, and when the marine transforms, you can actually see his legs inbetween the vkinings, so his model doesnt disappear during the transformation. hope you guys can help.
