Hi! I made something like Psionic Hydralisk (new diffuse, emissive, static portait textures and new animation).
There is no way to make a new Portait model, because m3 plugins doesn't support cameras.

Looks pretty sweet. Might have a bit too much glow on the portrait though :D You should also add a few more skills when the game comes out (I hope they add that PSI bolt which kind'a looked like a mixture of rasengan and chidori (naruto) which Kerrigan used in one of the cinematics)

Though, as I said before, not as I imagined him. What I wanted was an outline glow around the model. Though, I dunno if that's possible considering what I've seen with glows in games like Neverwinter Nights.
I have never played Neverwinter Nights. But.... I think it uses post-processing outline effect like this:
You can simply do it through data editor (event: Unit Birth > Halo Start).
Nice nice... The Halo seems to be what is used on character selection in the campaign. Never thought it could be a good use for your hydralisk ^^
The portrait is absolutly awesome... why can you only make a 2D portrait? Seems like you only have done this via retexture the hydralisk? Maybe you can also retexture the portrait texture. =)

AegisRunestone, I found that you need! Unfortunately, m3 plugins can't recreate this shader effect. : (
I tried to import model to 3dsmax and then export it back to the editor... result in this screenshot:
Demonette, if I simply retexture portrait, it will replace an old one. Adding new textures require a new model with changed texture paths.
We just need to wait for new versions of m3 plugins! : )
PS: I made some new cast animations. Video and asset will be soon!

That's a really interesting model. I think I know how that effect is done...I'll take a look at the model and see if I can update the importer/exporter to support it.
Wow. Awesome. Though, I wasn't expecting it to be an asset for others to use. :S (Mainly because I don't want someone to steal Kheldrun's concept.) But that's up to you if you want to keep it as asset. I *am* going to use it, though. :P

It's just like a marine unit and Jim Raynor hero.. or dark templar and Zeratul.
Ps: Can Kheldrun speak or do "telepatic communications"?. If he can... We can try to make new sounds for him. I'm novice in sound editing. But it will be interesting : )

That's AWESOME, Salirth. Not what I imagined, but awesome nonetheless. It would be better if there was less glow on the Hydralisk Portrait, though. :P
Also: Can you make flashing psionic eyes?

What model is that? Like exact path. Can't find it by description alone (there is no model called ZealotPrison or anything).
