Also she wobbles back and forth which is a little strange :P looks drunk. Maby animate her mouth breathing a little too.
Again this is just polish and not really needed as most people wont care xD . Think were just being picky.
She truly looks like she's a little drunk. And she could use some facial expressions.
I'm guessing we're going to see a lot of shooter projects with SC2, yours could turn out to be one of the few of higher quality. I'm currently working on one of the TSOF-Characters, using Nova as the basemodel (why waste your time creating a new one, when you can just use the one from blizz?) got a little problem though ... damn hair won't look good.
You dont want too much going on in a stand animation :/ What hes got is fine. Otherwise she will start animating some random leg animation then pop to running which will look stupid in third person. Also do you lean back and forward when you stand ? Look at wows stand animations for example the only actual random moment they do is moving round one shoulder like a stretch sort of thing. You done see there character move there legs or lean back and forward.
You are learning forwards and backwards with your shoulders while breathing. Anyway, your chests do. WEll, maybe I used wrong term. But there is slight movement.
And its always better to make animation more alive then in reality. Wc3 models for example. They are have their stand animations quite funky.
But well eh, it would be good to see this model in-game standing aside marine for example.
i think he means that the nova portrait model (which actually uses the full body SM nova model) has a standing animation included whereas the SM Nova doesn't.
Dont mean to but in and be annoying but i have been trying to do a similar thing with the kerrigan zerg portrait, my attempts however to give it animations and then import it are all failing, I dont know how to get the animations on the model to play for a unit after i import them, if you got some time some help would be appreciated a LOT, this whole thing is driving me crazy, use max 2010 btw.

You can simply use the same animation for the SM Model, i tried it and it worked. Sadly, it doest work with Tychus and other Marines....

I made a stand animation for the story mode Nova model, primarily for my StarCraft: Ghost map.
(OOD)
I plan on distributing the model as soon as I am finished making animations.
EDIT: Updated image.

Her right hand looks very uncomfortably . Maby tilt it down a little if you have time.
Looks awesome.
And yes, her right wrist is bent very unnaturally.
And maybe too many frames ? Plays too slow IMO.
Now you can make her toss her hair :P .

It's fixed now. I'll provide a picture sometime soon.
I made a run animation, but it got really messed up after exporting/importing. :\
Edit: It works fine now. The animation still needs improvement, though.

Some leg animations would do great here, somewhat like how the ghost leans back a bit in th game
Yea, lean back, forward a bit with shoulders, slight knee bending.

Uhm.. she already has a stand animation. Its located in the portrait section. Otherwise, this is awesome.
Can you clarify?

Its probally the model from the Armory where she is sitting on the ammo crates cleaning her rifle
Anyways the idle anymation looks stiff maybe some more body animation
