Will of Aiur
Will of Aiur
Welcome, to the page of my second project called "Will of Aiur". After many months of working and polishing the map i decided to upload it to the EU battle-net servers.
The main idea
My plan was to create a set of maps containing:
- Farm-Dungeons (like the map which is uploaded)
- Homebase ( Upgrading your stuff/ Farming / etc... I am not really sure what i am going to add here)
- Arena ( a PvP based map, where you can win stuff by competing in Tournaments)
- Survival Maps ( Gamemode , in which you have to survive .. the longer, the better the items you gain. )
- etc.
Of course this is a lot of work, but when the feedback is positively enough i will continue the work. :)
Here is an outdated picture because i am too lazy to reupload one: :D
Features:
- endless items
- triggerbased inventory as well as triggerbased fight-system
- music! :D
- clean custom UI
- 300+ custom pictures
Another outdated picture:
The map is currently uploaded to th EU-servers as
"WIll of Aiur (Demo)"
Hi there. So I downloaded your map and found that it could not open in the editor due to error in map info. Some unable to load map info error. So what do i do?

Ye I didn't think about the balance when I overworked the armor system :/ The thing is , I'm kinda busy at the moment, so I wasn't able to test it properly... To the misspelled words i won't say anything apart from thank you for correcting me :P I will fix it tomorrow :)
Just tested the new update. Melee is mispelled as "Meele". The tooltip on Auto Attack spells "Standard Attack" as "Standart Attack". Have only tried Melee and Mage so far, but Melee is horribly underpowered it seems. Mage can kill a Zergling by autoattacking before it can reach it, but Melee has to go in and take damage to kill it in a longer amount of time. And it can't tank that much better either, so it's just a weaker melee version of Mage so far.

That's a good idea! Thanks
I personally like being able to move the camera around, it's helpful when I want to see what the other players are doing. But maybe add an option like "-lock" or something and "-unlock" to give the player the option to lock the camera for them?

Thank you for playing my map and I am very happy about all the positive feedback :)
To your suggestions:
-I totally forgot about the descriptions for the empty slots.. I will definetly fix that
-There is a Exprerience-bar showing the ep you need/have ( tooltip ) But I accidently flipped the tooltip, so you were only able to view your ep when you checked the ep-bar which was showing the ep you have right now.. if you get what i am trying to say :D )
-I am not really sure if i should remove the ability to move the camera , but let's wait for other suggestions.
- I will definetly put a chatlog into it :)
Playing the map, I really have to say that this could become a very good RPG. Nice work :D The UI and graphics look very nice (really like that lighting), both bosses are good for the beginning, the normal enemies are also ok and the rest is well made, too.
The idea with multiple maps for this game sounds also nice, but I guess that means really much work with synchronising the maps... But well, it's not impossible.
Here some things I also want to mention:
- it would be helpful if you could add a description for empty slots in the inventory, including what item-type you can put in there
- a dialog, which shows how much xp you have/need for the next level would be nice
- in my opinion, the possibility to move your camera doesn't really fit to a RPG, but... well, it's just my opinion :P
- maybe you should add a Chatlog for multiplayer-release
I look forward to any updates ;)
Sounds nice. But I would put the charakter's life, portrait to the left bottom. It's to WOW styled and the WOW UI is ugly.
After I've played, I have to say it's a realy good project it makes a lot of fun and is nice to play.

I'm glad you like my project! :) And like i wrote I will be uploading the example map in a few days to show you what it will look like!
The example map won't contain custom animations or edited animation, but i will definetly try the thing with the stopped animation.
Wow this actually looks really really nice. It's crisp and looks pretty easy to pick up. I like the idea and the way it's headed. A tip for the zealot for ranged animations would be to use macros which basically cut off the animation time and if done right can give the sense he's shooting. Anyway I look forward to seeing more.
