Tutorial: Boot Camp Remake
It's a remake of the first Star Craft mission. Who can forget this map, right? )) Hope someone will find it cool. This is my first map on Galaxy Editor at all (and i have no experience in WC3 World Editor either), so, please, tell me straight if you will find some bugs.
Nothing big for player, realy, but this map was one of the hardest in original SC (i mean triggers sets). Specially for a new guy in map-making like me)) I figure out the way how to run a lips animation for portraits. It's crooked but it's better than nothing.
Enjoy, guys'n'ladies!
@Terhonator: Go
Yeah, help yourself, man.
Thank you so much for this map! Now I understand better how lip animation works.
God damn it.. now i feel like an idiot for remaking this level.. x_x
You did a really nice job on the doodads, added a lot of character to the map itself, and well done with the mission briefing screen, I had no idea how to go about doing that part.. Kudos to you there.
Thanks :)
The param/value is a localisation issue, arising when someone outside the author's region plays the map. Every time new text is added to a map, I believe it needs to be fixed. Use http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/sc2-localizer/ to do so, just beware the caveats listed (I haven't had any trouble with it.)
Otherwise, good find on the transmission animation JLogan, especially for someone new to the editors :)
Yeah, i got some plans)
this is the best remake on this website, shame the level is so easy. keep making good maps, would be nice if you could remake the whole campaign
Thank you
That was pretty good...
Can't help you, man. Ask on forum, maybe someone knows how to fix it.
I keep getting /param/value all over the place. On all maps from this site, not just yours. Help ?:D
Thanks, guys! I'll do my best! Your opinions is the best motivation!
Hands down the best Remake ever. From the start with the briefing to the end. Can't wait to see more remakes from you. I will probably play them all if you do. 10/10
Great job, keep it up! Check out some of my remakes if you want.
Thank you, man! I got same thoughts about Zerglings, but i wanned to place 'em just like they were in original map. ... with similar number
Looks very similar to the 1st mission. GJ. I like how you added all those extra doodads. I thought there would be more Zerglings tho.
