Starcraft Fortress
This is a map where you start with the normal melee starting units, and you have to fortify against endless numbers of zerg. This is version 0.3, wich (i hope) supports multiplayer. The zerg will attack you at random times, with an exponentially increasing number of units. So in the end you will always loose. (My record is 37 minutes, beat it!) The map will eventually become a 4 player, where 2 teams of 2 players will have one base each to defend, and the team that manages to hold out longest will win.
this map was alright up until the 40 something minute mark when your run out of minerals...retarded design on your part. whats the point of a survival map to see how long u can last if you are guaranteed to run out of minerals and die around 40-50 mins? i could have definitely lasted longer
Hehe, i used the map earlier for trying out some skills. messing around with "time factor" mainly. In the full version i suppose u will be able to choose what race you want. i imagine it will be hard with zerg though.
Add support for players to pick terran/zerg/protoss , I edited the map to try toss out myself, noticed some things were broken (chronoboost did something else altogether!), still fun map :)
Played this yesterday with a friend, so i can confirm it works multiplayer, survived for 52 mins with him, eventually got swarmed under when a silly amount of mutas busted our supply depo line, and the 1000 odd zerg meandered into our base, obliterating everything. (oh boy, there was alot of units, and lag, when the factor got to about 25.) Fun map, but as previously stated, if you build a wall, (say betweeen the lion/tiger statues) the zerg run into the main courtyard, then round to the back of your base. Mutas still behave as they should, mind.
one thing i would point out, is that there was an aweful large amount of zerg sitting on their creep, and due to the invincible defences (which i understand the reasoning for) werent possible to clear out, thus adding to the lag. I also understand with this issue, that perhaps we werent supposed to survive for getting on one hour, but i thought i'd highlight it anyway.

@ scfs123. I'm aware of that bug when u wall in.. Its an issue with the Ai attack order, wich i think is stupid. The next version will have a temporary fix (u can't wall in completely). Yeh, the spine crawlers are supposed to be unkillable, youre not supposed to be expanding:) Do you think adding vision over the base for zerg might fix the problem?
Really fun map. Few things i noticed, 1. Spine crawlers are unkillable =( can't expand?! 2. With a supply depot line, the zerg kept running behind the base instead of attacking the depots. >.> kinda amusing.

@Archangel. You cant tell what it says in the boxes because of the bug for US players playing EU maps and vice versa.. There is one way to fix this, and that is to enter the dialog boxes in the trigger editor yourself. Or, you can use the top box, wich is easy. The map is not too hard i think, do you have any ladder experience? You'll find the choke points down south.
@onekrana, nice! was that on easy? i usually get completely ovverun at around 35 minutes .

way too hard- cant tell whats easy/med/hard mode(shows as codeing)- if any- zerg attacks way tooo quickly- with way too much force. no choke points- major problem. had nothing other then scvs to start with. to little to late.
