It is amazing what some simple terrain changes can do, definitely a step up from former terrain. Like i mentioned earlier a dialog which sends units to the enemy base would be a nice touch. I am interested to see what gas is used for seeing as though minerals is spent on both units and upgrades =P
The medic is kind of cheap. He heals the unit really quick so basically if you have medics your guys don't die. Either raise the health or lower the heal rate and raise damage rate of weapons. I couldn't buy another unit because my marines wouldn't die due to medic healing them within a second.
Heyy man i read your post and thought yeah why not i will give it ago =D it seems like a nice basic game mechanic with simple goals. perhaps add a dialog which automatically sends unit to a particular players location. Also i am curious as to why you used the marauder models as a medic =P A bug i found was that after i killed a HQ the units wouldn't stop spawning. I believe that having a larger population limit would be better, not outrageously high just a little bump up and also making the lanes a little wider to account for the increased population limit. it is hard to tell what needs to be changed or added in single player though but all in all it is a fine map. good luck
Gas is used as a kill point count thing.
The more kills you get, the more gas you get.
10 Gas = 1 Mineral
