Simply's Restaurations
I hope to release (and keep releasing) models and textures, based on salvaged / partially completed Blizzard pre-release assets. Or models/ textures, inspired by such.Lots of good assets in the editor, begging to be completed. Once done, i would like to share them and preserve them, for excellent maps like the WOL Alpha Map on the Arcade. Check it out, its fun.

-Effects
-Console re-textures and UI elements.
-Restored alternate old animations.
All credit goes to the community, that made the tools for this possible. Though, i admit to struggling with Blenders addons. Making the textures has been fun though. I hope to keep learning and making more.

Is it possible to implement buildings and units that were deleted in 2007?
For example, transforming from a starport to a starbase? Change from Predator's fighter mode to interceptor mode...etc.

Well, there are already two maps out there, that sort of attempt that on the arcade. Search for SC2 Alpha map, that makes the game play closer to the alpha build. There is also a mod on the Asian Server, that implements alot of old cut units, though it doesnt have alot of these visual changes and is work in progress. Just create a melee map with A测大乱斗, as a mod.
Stuff, like the cut mothership, old carrier, OLD Thor(big slow chunky unit), etc, etc....
Hopefully this stuff will get finished soon.
The Dugalle portrait is interesting. However, there's room for improvement in accuracy. His mouth is too high, and his skin tone too saturated. Also he doesn't smile.

Not really meant to be 1 to 1. Just like Tassadar is ,what if Tassadar but in Starcraft 2. Hell, if you look at stukovs face in sc2, he doesnt really look like the man in SC1, more like the concept art than the final result.
Also the lighting plays with the skin tone and the animation with any "smiling".
Frankly, i see more differences in the jawline, if anything.
I imported The CommandCenterBW/Alpha model and Texture but the orbital Command and Planetary Fortress are missing when i changed the model of the CommandCenter.

Did you change all 3 models in the data editor? Dont remember, cause its not my model, but they also might be separate models?

Yes, it is possible. But it would take a very long time. That head has a big hole, so you would have to replace it with like the zealot head, its kinda similar. But then that kinda messes the facial animation, so youd have to fix that and then retexture it to look like Artanis.
Plus, i never really like Artanis's LOTV armor.
