I ran into some errors while working on the UI, I will have to fix this when the patch hits the real servers. For now I have released a version with the UI reset in the PTR server, check it out if you can!

The project is currently gearing up for testing, this will be the "official" meeting place for news, development, and discussion about the project.
If you would like to help me test, please let me know; I am looking for some testers as I will probably be very lonely trying to test it in Bnet.
More information and screenshots will be posted soon.

Q&A:
Q: So what is this? A: A hero arena for the most part.
Q: What do you mean by "for the most part"? A: The main activity will be the arena rounds, however there will be some Co-Op components in which both teams will work together for rewards after the arena phase is over. Something like a mini-dungeon crawler where you can gain a shot at some extra loot if you stay.
Q: So there is items? A: Yes, there are equipment items that are stored so that you can use them on future games.
Q: Eeeew, so I'm I going to get owned by the guy who has all this other equipment items that I don't have? That's not cool! A: NO! The items are meant to be mostly cosmetic, they give tiny little bonuses but let you customize your look, and gives you a small incentive to play again... In theory, if you are skilled, you should be able to beat that guy even if you drop your starting equipment.
Q: Cool! A: Yeah!
Q: So what sets this arena apart? A: Well for starters its a little off of the Starcraft universe as you can imagine, leaning of course towards a Warcraft type of fantasy; No guns, but staffs, swords, hammers etc! Aside from this, I'm trying to aim at making the combat a little more player skill orientated: point targeted spells, point AOEs etc, stuff you can dodge etc, while also keeping in mind escape mechanisms so that you don't get killed in a heartbeat. Also, don't forget the game keeps track of your skill level, equipment etc.
Q: So what else aside from my equipment does the map store? A: Aside from you equipment, a small number of stats are stored, this is so you can see how balanced the game is at the start. The map has a sort of player skill rating that shows the balance of the two teams at the start of the game, if you win against heavy odds your skill rating will increase a lot more than if the odds are in your favor. (See this screenshot). It also keeps track of the number of games, wins, loses, that kind of thing.
