NanaKey's ModernWarAsset
Hi everyone, this is a new share mod from Nanakey and Delphinium.
http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/nanakeys-modernwarasset/files/
This mod focuses on modern war weapons like missiles, tanks, ships and aircraft. For now it's still a fully finished mod but already has plenty units ready for your call. If you are working on a modern war related project or have such a plan, I think this asset mod will be helpful.
Since this mod is still in progress and more units will be added, I would like to know which part you prefer to be preferential. A in progress project (such as PVP map which focuses on aircraft combat or Destroyer vs. Submarines). Once I get the information, the new units will be added to my next step plans.
I hope you guys like these models, please reply below or send messages to mention me if you have further plan about this project.
Best wishes from China,
Nanakey and Delphinium (Froggy&Catty)

I just converted a few light vehicles, including this Nod Buggy. Credits go to Ole Kristian Busk, AKA "Illidan(Evil)X" on the Hive Workshop.
I just happened to convert a very old Russian Havoc model by "killst4r" from the Hive Workshop. See how I did here, but give credit to "killst4r". Even if he's been long gone...
How do I attach this mod, for some reason it never wants to show up in dependency, what file should i move it to?
Is this project still alive? I'd still recommend adding base structures and Russian Navy units. How about Donald Trump? :P
I'm having trouble using this mod in my map. I downloaded the files and it all looks great when I run my map from the editor, but when I try to publish to battlenet it asks me to locate a source for the mod on battlenet. What do I do here? The editor has a way to search battlenet for published files, but I can't find anything relating to this mod. Anyone know what I'm missing?
Anyone else having trouble with the Ford Class Carrier model? It starts floating away ingame and on editor?
How's that PowerPoint coming along? And how did you configure the water "plane" for the naval units?
No TK?
Yeah, we have a project called "Dustin" which is a story that Dustin Browder (Imba Man) and Mike Morhaime (Captain Blizzard) against the alien invasion. It's a super hero style RPG and these assets are created for this project.
But of course we can image that the modern weapons can be used in various situations that's why we share them in public. We are glad to see some one can find new projects for them.
About the Civilians, I have made an Obama before :-) as well as some building doodads like White house and Blizzard Entertainment Company.
These days I am writing a Powerpoint about our projects and team, I think you may get more useful information when we release it.
Best wishes, Froggy&Catty.
Awesome! :) And do you plan any units ideal for a SP campaign? Civilians? Heroes?
@RanchBurner: Go
I have made a Humvee before, but that one is a little low quality to other vehicle models, I will make a new one later. It won't cost much time.
Any light vehicles on the way? Like a Humvee?
The weapon package is finished, it allows you to attach different weapons such as AA missiles, bombs, and fuel pods to these aircraft, and custom your fire power. New weapon package contains more than 10 different weapons/pods.
I also made a UAV (MQ9 Reaper) model, all animations completed. Hope you like it.
Best wishes from China.
New model AH64D and M270 now have been added to the mod, maybe need one or two days to approval, missile weapons and explosion effects are added too.

Btw, I would like to add new models for you in the updates, but you never say what's reptilians. Since there is no more information, I have search it on google a long time and find over five different reptilians (one of them says that Obama is a reptilian hybird.)
Now new model AH-64D Longbow is finished.

I used the mod to keep all models updates and avoid the fragmentation. There are plenty reasons that sharing SC2mod is a much better way than unloading single model m3 and dds files. Since you had ask this, I would like to explain this more here.
1) Using the mod means that the author only needs to upload a single, closed file, which itself is a guarantee that user only needs to do is use it and avoids other detailed problems, you don't need to looking for right dependency (when textures from HOTS or WoL have been used), all necessary and need assets are included in the mod itself.
2) If you add the mod to your custom dependency of your map, it means everyone that used this mod has the same file, so when players only need to download once for all these maps, it's a kind of steam resource.
3) The mod allows the author to upgrade the models and fixed the bugs, if you exported and reimported models from the mod, in the future I can never fix the model if there are errors or defects in them, an author can't modify a m3 file if it has been store in to an unknown mod, but modify and maintain the assets mod is possible, every time when there are new updates, small errors of previous models have been fixed.
4) Once you export the model from the mod, I can't distinguish the Version of these models, to guarantee that users don't need to change their map for every updates, the model's names have never been changed (even there is a hot fix inside, there can't be a xxx2.0.m3 because SC2 map can't read the version.) So if everyone export the models, there will be more and more different version of same unit, with same names but different content, even the author him/her/itself can't distinguish them.
Btw, I have very good memory as well as back ground files to support these models, I have index, memorandum and library for each of these models. So if someone points out errors or improvement ideas, I can easily find the original files on my computer, and fix them in real time.
There are plenty reasons that Blizzard gave us the .SC2mod format. It's absolutely a much scientific solution for assets.
I would like to suggest you to "use my mod" instead of "use my m3", I can't be your backup if I can't even recognize the pathway or the name of them.
I'm really confused... why do you upload all your models into a .mod file?
Why don't you just zip them up in a folder with the models already there? Then we don't have to go through the mod file and export them ourselves, they're already exported. I just don't understand why you went through the extra hassle of using a mod file.
Lav 25, T90ms and SCUD units added. But as always, the new mod can't be downloaded until someone certificate the file (it can be seen in the "file" page, but can't be downloaded from the overview page), SC2mapster has a very unfriendly attachments management system.
@Editorspick: Go
Hi Editorspick, Sorry I missed this reply, I get your point and I will fix this error ASAP, considering that the auditing time of SC2mapster is very long every time, I will upload it when the aircraft weapons, T-90ms and SCUD models are finished.
Wo...Wow!! I don't know what to say! You have done much more files than I expected! I was trying to convert f-18 from 3ds max but Here it is! happy coincidence&appreciation for you. I reseted my mac because it was running too slow.. I'm doing the project from the begining.. but I'll do it ASAP with faster mac! f-15,f-16 and 1-18 was surprise! sorry but F-22's cockpit is single pieced:: not like f-35's cockpit.. But you don't have to do it! It is just.. litle favor!
