Mine Bombers
Mine Bombers is a top-down arcade-style multiplayer (2-4p) game based on the old freeware dos game Mine Bombers by Skitso Productions. Characters can dig a path through randomly generated terrain clumps of dirt, rock, sand, and movable boulders to collect various kinds of treasure (grid-based positioning) (larger map size compared to games like some of the bomberman clones, etc.). Use different kinds of bombs and equipment to better clear a path to treasure and/or destroy the other mine bombers. Set traps in the maze for your enemies, or simply pin them between hard-to-dig rock and a newly dropped large bomb, use a flamethrower, or ram into them. Buy weapons and tools between rounds from treasure. Rounds end when the timer is up, all treasures are collected, or only one mine bomber remains. Kill enemy mine bombers to get half their accumulated treasure. Pick one of 3 characters to accent gameplay. Etc, etc.
Vague Game Sense: (a) 'game-theroy-type' social gameplay (hunting treasure-hoarders, revenge killing, kamikaze-ing, defensive-killings, mutual non-agression, etc.). (b) death risk vs reward (collecting and saving up treasure - compared to risk of combat, or alternately risk of death from not buying something defensive). (c) randomly generated terrain and treasure placement (target priorities often intuitive rather than clear-cut). (d) global visibility, i.e, seeing what other players are doing vs focusing on character alertly, being more active, togglable autofollow. (e) melee movement push/shove mechanic. (f) tactical use of pre-placed traps, drop-bomb-and-run tactics, mechanics like 'self-replicating-tunnel-goo', 'fire-extinguishers', hard-to get but ridiculously op. 'nuke', rock-only explosive, 'pit trap', impenetrable steel barrier, plastic explosive, 'grasshopper grenade', 'teleport pad', 'mechanical character clone drone', 'kinda-sucks-in-the-open-but-great-in-narrow-corridors' flaming gas-barrel, remote mine, and such. (g) investment in faster mining speed vs buying bombs to clear terrain, vs saving up for comparatively more effective expensive mining speed.
Looking for a 3d modeller that is able to make a few basic things, (animated objects) preferably using in-game textures, if that is possible.
